Everton v Manchester City
The game everyone wants us to lose to stop our Neighbours(gobsh*tes) winning the premiership title.
Everton v Manchester City at goodison Park k/o 19.45pm Wednesday 5th February 2019
The game has been brought forward to accommodate Manchester City's FA Cup game the weekend, Everton Chairman Farhad Moshiri has ''today'' given his support to Everton Manager Marco Silva, by insisting Silva is here for the long term, The sooner Farhad Moshiri's memory returns the better for all.
In the mean time Marco Silva will be without Defensive duo Yerry Mina-Phil Jagielka and Left Back Leighton Baines, Adrissa Guye returns to the squad since his disappointing transfer to PSG didn't go through,
will be interesting to see what formation Silva selects, either way we are still Sh*te
1-1 Cenk Tosun UTFT'S

Original date is when Citteh are playing in the League Cup final. Usually you would expect the game to be left til the end of the season, but Citteh probably pointed out that, as they may still be competing in every competition, the game needs to be brought forward rather than delayed. We should have told them to shove it up their fat arses, but as we are also-rans in the PL we don't actually get any consideration.
Still, hopefully we will put up an amazing fight and lose 5-4, thus kick-starting our confidence while still allowing the Shite to slip from the top of the table.

Date change was so last minute.com not even going to be a sell out.

The original fixture was the same weekend as the League Cup final, and with Man City in the final the game has been brought forward as was easy to find a fixture before the original date than after.

Pep says goal difference may be the League decider.
Be afraid, be very........etc.
Goals galore but no humiliation please.

Re: Everton v Manchester City
Everton make five changes from the team whacked by Wolves - Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson are among those who miss out.
Re: Everton v Manchester City
Everton: Pickford, Kenny, Zouma, Keane, Digne, Gueye, Walcott, Davies, Andre Gomes, Bernard, Calvert-Lewin. Subs: Sigurdsson, Tosun, McCarthy, Schneiderlin, Stekelenburg, Coleman, Richarlison.
Looks like we are resting players for the more winnable games. The Shite won't be happy

Re: Everton v Manchester City
Since the beginning of December, only Huddersfield Town and Fulham have earned fewer Premier League points than Everton's 11.

Re: Everton v Manchester City
I would be OK with a tight loss, let's say 2-3.Armchair wrote:Everton: Pickford, Kenny, Zouma, Keane, Digne, Gueye, Walcott, Davies, Andre Gomes, Bernard, Calvert-Lewin. Subs: Sigurdsson, Tosun, McCarthy, Schneiderlin, Stekelenburg, Coleman, Richarlison.

It's unlikely but now we've lost that one... if we can beat the shite on 3 March we literally could be the reason they don't win the league.Goodison_Gringo wrote:Glad that's out of the way. Time to start winning some fucking games again.
...that would be fucking gold !

We were looking alright until that Pickford cock-up at Analfield. Perhaps the Goodison derby will be the turning point for us again.

Re: Everton v Manchester City
The performance was encouraging. We seemed better without Siggy (just not up to it) and Richie (the most clumsy Brazilian ever).
Lil' Tom looked good in the 10 role.
Kenny did himself proud. Do we stick with him?

I find that Sigurdsson and Richarlison don't offer us much mobility, Theo Walcott is well passed his best, Silva bringing on Sigurdsson and moving Davies into defensive Midfield limited are chances going forward.
Three players that don't do much, hope Silva leaves them on the bench v Watford.
Re: Everton v Manchester City
The 3 local lads may help give the team some identity, with Baines and Jags in the dressing room, maybe that's a better template for the rest of the season?SEFTON wrote:Yankthattoffee wrote:The performance was encouraging. Surely Silva isn't so stubborn as to continue with his maligned zonal?

Re: Everton v Manchester City
Only followed the game via twitter last night, but most of the tweets were saying that both Davies & Kenny had a decent game and that Walcott should be nowehere near the team.
