Dundee vs Everton - pre-season friendly
Another pre-season friendly tonight, this time away to Dundee which is of course famous for it's cakes.
Early weather forecasts suggests lots of drizzle so I wouldn't expect there to be hundreds and thousands of fans attending this one. Martinez is already walking on thin icing with a lot of fans who want muffin to do with this and think the transfer situation is getting a trifle out of hand. Many are lacking optimism for the currant season so let's hope expectations will be raisin after tonight after we've stollen a convincing away win.
I've heard a rumour that there will be guest appearances from Brett Angel, David Genoa and Victoria Anichebe, although first team coach Big Dunc can't attend as he's been arrested for assualt and battenburg.

I could get hot and cross at your criticism, but I'm not going to rise to it.

Our hamstring to victory ratio is looking very tidy now. Very tidy

“Rom has obviously been playing a lot of minutes and it was important for him to get some sort of action,” the Blues boss told evertontv. “After the first 25 minutes, he was feeling his legs were a little bit too heavy and we didn’t want to take any risks.
“It’s not a problem at all. I think he got a lot of good work between the two games we’ve had up here, plus the games we had in Singapore.
“Now we have got a little period before the weekend to make sure he is ready and refreshed.”

He needs to go on a bloody diet? He's 6'3 but 16 stone, Should be a rugby player, far to heavy for a football player.

Fair's fair Sef, poor old Luka has only had two months off and he's had to play two massively important friendlies already. Give the lad a break - he needs a few weeks off to recover from the work-load.
It's going to be a long, hard season - for the fans that is, not the players.
