Re: Fulham 2 Everton 1 (League Cup) (Naismith)
FooFoo would never have got a game under Moyes. Can you imagine the roasting he'd have got at half time for not passing the ball and not tracking back? Mind you, he could do with looking for his team-mates just occasionally.
Re: Fulham 2 Everton 1 (League Cup) (Naismith)
good half ... time to re-boot this pile of old toss

It feels like I am watching a different team. This isn't Everton surely?! Really enjoying watching us at the moment.
Re: Fulham 2 Everton 1 (League Cup) (Naismith)
see the difference eh? Everton on the front foot from the off and not resting on a 1-0 lead. F**king great isn't it?

I hate to do a Sacko impersonation - but our two best players tonight, and Gareth Barry, are only on a year's loan. Gibson and Heitinger are reminders of the stark reality of what we actually have.

The big thing is that whatever the result - in any game - you know we're going to come right back out and give it a right good go in the next game and that's just what I want to see - whereas Moyes was happy with (say) 4 wins 4 draws and one narrow loss at Arsenal Martinez wants to win every game and bugger the consequences..

Now I am looking to get to as many games as I can afford (and my wife will let me go to ).

He is mate. I couldn't believe it when Martinez played him this season but he is playing well and long may it continue.sefton wrote:Have to give credit were its due , Naismith playing well.Dixie Land wrote:I had started to get fed up with football but am loving it again this season. But even if they go the chances are we will qualify for Europe next season and therefore become more attractive for better players than we have been. I also think that Martinez is a more charismatic boss than Moyes was.
Re: Fulham 2 Everton 1 (League Cup) (Naismith)
So, will Mirallas be able to keep Foofoo out of the side?

got caught in possession there and it's 1-1. That's always going to be the danger.
