not bad for a lump ehSuper wrote:@Squawka: Romelu Lukaku has now scored 45 Premier League goals since 2012/13, only Agüero (56), Suárez (54) & Van Persie (48) have more in that time.

He was fucking shocking last night, but you can't argue with 2 goals and an assist.

His face looked like a smackheads at the start of the game - I honestly thought he was on drugsGravy & Chips wrote:He was fucking shocking last night, but you can't argue with 2 goals and an assist.

might be worse - his eyes looked like they were sunken into his skull, he definitely doesn't look as healthy as he did when he came here - still a big unit likeGravy & Chips wrote:Sweating like a rapist 20 minutes in too....on the billy whizz?
Re: Romelu Lukaku - Chelsea's loss (for this season)
He's been shocking all season. Deulofeu is going to give you 3 or 4 decent low crosses from the byline, just in front of goal, every game. So far Lukaku has been static out by the penalty spot every time. I don't know if he just can't be arse, if he's not fit enough, or if he just doesn't understand the concept of gambling and making a near post run.
It seemed like Deu clocked onto it last night and started sending crosses from deeper, without trying to beat his man. It paid of yesterday but isn't going to bring goals every game.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if Martinez got the players together and discussed how together they could create opportunities during the game. Possibly even tell FooFoo to deliver such balls and also tell Rom to move towards the near post instead of waiting until it's too late.

Who knows what they discuss in training. Sometimes it looks like they neglect the basics.
Rom looks so off the pace. He's already scored 6 this season. Just imagine what he could do if he lived up to his potential. Frustrating.

Re: Romelu Lukaku - Chelsea's loss (for this season)
Rom is a brute of a man & he knows how to finish.. for me his anticipation of the cross is his issue.. Foo was firing in great balls & Mirallas the same last year but Rom doesn't go quick enough, if at all... if he sorts out his anticipation & we have Foo on one wing & Kev on the other firing in balls like Foo did yesterday..... well... we really could be a major handful for any oppositionGoodison_Gringo wrote:Statman wrote:Goodison_Gringo wrote:He's been shocking all season. Just think how many he would have scored if he made more of an effort.

Martinez, needs to start with Both Lukaku & Kone ,don't want to be chasing THE GAME.
Re: Romelu Lukaku - Chelsea's loss (for this season)
I can't see how we can expect Big Luke to run 10K per game.
Think of what track runners look like, who run any kind of distance, then compare them with Luke.
He's like a shot putter running sprints.
If we're looking for a power play, then it's not going to last the full 90 minutes.
I'll take what we get from him.
2 goals on Sunday will do.

Romelu Lukaku is just another pawn in a game his agent ''Raiola'' is playing to get more money for himself , Slatan Ibrahimovich of PSG will be leaving at the end of the season, so, its not surprising to hear Lukaku's name being touted as a January transfer to PSG, Raiola is the agent of both players ,Raiola will try to make as much money as he can but I would like to know what Lukaku's thoughts are?
Re: Romelu Lukaku - Chelsea's loss (for this season)
I would love it (Keegan stylee) if Martinez's solicitors issues a letter to this leech and states that if he doesn't retract this bogus statement that he will be receiving court papers within the next few days for libel proceedings.
We all know it won't happen but I can dream.
Also I would love it if Lukaku came out and just issued the one sentence statement. "I have told my agent to shut the fuck up and just do his job"

Buy Ighalo to replace him with £20m of it.

For some reason I just don't see him fitting at Man Utd. Think he'll stick with us for maybe another season, then be off to the continent.

Manchester United have played down talk of signing Everton striker Romelu Lukaku this January but are ready to make a £40m move for the 22-year-old in the summer. (Daily Mirror)

I would hope it will be a good deal more than 40 when he goes!
