Aston Villa 1 Everton 1 (Anichebe)
I'm a match thread virgin but see no better time to shoot my load than now... as the mighty blues begin a 24 match winning streak, including FA cup games all the way to Wemberley..
Everton wheeler dealers are clearly feeling like a bunch of big bollocks Bills now they have spent 12 pence on a new player that is actually older than nine... & the opposition (who sound like a fucking Ice Cream) have shat a load more wedge down the pan on Robbie Keane (aged 54 / Nigerian 21 / Irish 80) who will need a zimmer frame to get out of GP after J5 puts him into orbit a few times.
The score will be sensible at 0-2 but only because Hibbo will be missing, otherwise it would have been a dominating 0-652 + 10 missed penalties; one from every player apart from Hibbo who would have naturally scored.
As Dixie would say ... Who the fuck are Aston twatting Vanilla ice cream twat arsed wankers anyway

Unless there is a drastic improvement in our play, I can't see anything else but a Villa home win.
2-1.
2-1.

Re: Aston Villa 1 Everton 1 (Anichebe)
We will grind out a stunning nil nil draw with the Brummie shitbags. Gibson will come on for ten minutes, slot nicely into a makeshift centre-half position, hit a 35-yarder into orbit and nearly give away a goal by sitting down for a pint and pie in the 90th minute when he should have been tracking back. Moyes will be delighted with the performance especially Bily's workrate on getting the teas in at half-time.
Re: Aston Villa 1 Everton 1 (Anichebe)
Lawro has predicted a 2-1 win for Villa. Clearly he knows nothing because we have a snowball's chance in hell of scoring, so 2-0 Villa.
(actually I think we'll win 1-0)

Twattenburg is back
http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Everton-David-Moyes-tight-lipped-as-ref-Mark-Clattenburgs-five-year-exile-from-officiating-their-games-ends-article853436.html
Mark Clattenburg will finally referee an Everton game again this weekend - five years and three months after he last did.
The Blues have played 162 matches since the Durham-based official was accused of bias and gross incompetence over his eccentric handling of a Merseyside derby back in October 2007.
Everton manager David Moyes was eventually charged by the FA for his comments about the ref following the game, in which two Everton had two players sent off and were denied a blatant last-minute penalty and a Liverpool player avoided an obvious red card.
Only months after that game, Clattenburg was relieved of all refereeing duties by the FA while they investigated his financial affairs, following the winding up of one of his businesses in the High Court for unpaid debts of nearly £60,000.
Amid claims he had total business debts of almost £200,000, Clattenburg was eventually dismissed for a breach of contract by referees' body the PGMO after an investigation into his business affairs and personal life.
He was reinstated to the list in February 2009, after clearing his name.
Since then though, the PGMO has studiously avoided allowing him near an Everton game.
The PGMO declined to answer questions this week about the reasons behind Clattenburg's absence from Everton matches, or why they have finally relented and allowed him to officiate their meeting with Aston Villa this weekend.
Moyes said he had not been consulted in any way by anyone from either the PGMO or the FA, but admitted: "Why should they? Managers shouldn't make appointments.
"That's all I can say on the matter. We have instructions not to comment on officials - before or after games!"

I like the Mirror's character assassination of Clattenburg. Excellent journalism.

He owes us big time doesn't he? Plus 162 matches interest. Cue 6 dodgy penalties tomorrow as it ends 3-3 and Chinese betting syndicates clear the national debt of the entire far east.

and if anyone thinks Johnson's 2-footed tackle deserved punishment, it's worth digging out Kuyt's drop kick on Pip that fateful day. (Unpunished)

Howard, Neville, Heitinga, Duffy, Baines, Donovan, Gibson, Fellaini, Drenthe, Cahill, Saha.
Subs: Mucha, Anichebe, Bilyaletdinov, Stracqualursi, McFadden, Gueye, Vellios.
weak CB pairing, Felli will have to sit right infront of them.
Cahill has scored 6 goals v Villa in his career.
