Howard 6 - quiet game, He should have shouted to Distin and a poor clearence may have seen another goal.
Baines -7 Outstanding. Their first goal was I believe due to him being told to leave Valencia and tighten up in the box
Distin and Heitinga 8 Best game by far for both of them, without a doubt the defensive display that beats good teams.
Neville, 5 Good tackle against Rooney, but was very poor this game

Arteta 7 - he is still off the pace, but watching him Pienaar Bily and Ozzie play is lovely footy to watch.
Osman 9 - My man of the match, I was worried he would be overun but our ball players created space and he was excellant. It just need one of his great goals.
Bily 6 - Fantastic goal, but still a little sloppy. He is going to be ace next season. Brilliant goal, which totally bamboozled Brown
Donnovan 7 Solid game, didn't know he had the flu, explains maybe why he did not do better against Neville.
Pienaar - 8 He was a cloe run for MOM for me.

Saha 8 That's a high mark for someone who did not score, but he dragged that uncertain Defensive pairing everywhere.

Gosling and Rodwell, They scored, both great goals. Not really long enough on to give marks to. 7 & 7.

So other than pip, one of the most enjoyable games of football for yonks.

Very nearly got killed because of this match.
Was driving to Lake District following my son's car. Nearly hit his car when we got our second, had to swerve hard to miss him when we got our third.
Driver behind me looked very worried when I was shaking my fist at my son.

Just seen that, spot on mate. Will start introducing a bonus point next season, next season people who start the match thread will have to include a score. 1 bonus point for correct result, 2 bonus points for correct score. Bit like the bonus points scoring in rugby.
