He was, for a disturbingly crap tackle (disturbing in that his body position was completely wrong.)
It's his debut so let's give him a pass for now. When Gray realises he's overlapping, there's some potential there on the left. Gives Gray a second option other than to run at the defender.
Re: Hull v Everton
Shearer basically nailing here why Rafa's three-man press is not only useless but quite dangerous.

Maybe its time to bring Rondon on, to see if he can do something

Re: Hull v Everton
It's really frustrating, isn't it? Very little movement off the ball. Surely Simms would do just as well and he'd get some game time.callmebubbles wrote:Maybe its time to bring Rondon on, to see if he can do something

Re: Hull v Everton
I would not play Tosun because he's shit and don't want him to get injured in case we are about to get rid of him.Made 4 Gwladys wrote:even TosunKnight of Thorgothshire wrote:It's really frustrating, isn't it? These days I refuse to fly unless the airline confirms Gbamin isn't on board.
Re: Hull v Everton
Ahh, true. He's so versatile and awesome he can play anywhere. No need to have a goalie on the bench when Gbamin is on the bench.Made 4 Gwladys wrote:don't worry mate... we have Gbamin on the benchKnight of Thorgothshire wrote:Gray is down, hopefully nothing too serious.

Mykolenko with a great chance some 10 yards out, hits it about 40 yards over the goal.

Re: Hull v Everton
Odd defending by Mykolenko there, didn't close down the defender, nor followed the overlapping player (not that he should have, he needs to focus on the ball carrier), but he ended up in no-mans land. Thankfully the Hull player hits the cross/shot over the bar.

I'll say it again, it's his debut. But he's not been good.
