That felt like a great time to score, but oh well. Still not sure why Davies didn't have a pop at goal himself.

FT 1-1
we could have won
With DCL & Richie out I'm surprised Rondon played no part at all in the game

Whatever you think of Rafa, he is getting the best out of the players we have, and we are competing even without DCL, Ritchie and Seamus. Credit to him. If Davies wasnt a chicken twat we should have won today!!

Re: ManUre v Everton
They bring on Ronaldo and Sancho, we bring on Dobbin and Davies
Superb performance by the lads, and hats off to Rafa - he deserves a knighthood for what he's done with this rag-tag bunch of misfits. On the other hand, Ole is massively out of his depth. How can a squad like he has there be so fucking ineffectual? Surely he must be sacked very soon?
Pity we didn't win, cos ManUre are the perfect opposition for us - very open and shit at the back - but I'll take a draw. I thought Tom Davies had done well until he made the wrong decision at the end, but MOTM shared between Gray, Doucoure, Allan and Townsend.
As for Rondon, there's a pub team somewhere missing their second choice striker. Still, he tried hard.

Decent point, shame about the offside goal.
Looked like Allan was holding his hamstring again at the end

Re: ManUre v Everton
Worked hard, but that's to be expected. Overall, I'd say pretty average, but I still prefer him to Iwobi. You can tell that Gordon needs some match time since I felt that he got more in to the game after the first 15-20 minutes, where he didn't really do much positive.Rotterdam 1985 wrote:I was out, didn't see it.
How did Gordon do?
Re: ManUre v Everton
There was some discussion about Tom Davies and why he didn't take the shot and passed to Mina instead for the offside goal. I have thought some more about it and I can't blame Davies for doing what he did even though he should have seen or "felt" that Mina was in an offside position.
Davies' confidence must be pretty low with him not seeing much of the pitch as of late and IF he were to take the shot and not score, everybody would say that he was a selfish cunt and should have passed to Mina.
If anything, Mina should have not jumped the gun and run offside. He should have known better.
But as also discussed earlier, I would have taken a point before the game started, so all good.
