ManUre v Everton (FA Cup)
I confidently expect us to play them off the park tonight, we'll win 3-0, Simms will score twice, the away section will be bouncing, United won't know what hit them.
Then we'll lay an egg against Southampton and everything will be back to normal.
I'm off to play Joy Division on a loop until kickoff time.

Re: ManUre v Everton (FA Cup)
Don't give a shit about it tbh ... all I want is premier league points, not a run in a cup that we haven't got a chance of winning.
we should play the kids or no hopers like Vinegar man, Maupeydick & McTwat in all areas... imagine losing Pickford, Tarks or Coady in a meaningless match like this
I'll watch it because it's on ITV... otherwise meh

Lamps job is obviously on the line here. He is risking an injury to a top player in a shit, meaningless gsme that we are going to lose anyway. Dont care about the result just dont want any important injuries. Not bothering to watch

fully agree... rumours are he's sacked straight after the game anyway... regardless of the result .. so what's he trying to prove ?callmebubbles wrote:Lamps job is obviously on the line here. Lol. We score the kind of goal we usually concede thanks to Norman Wisdom in goal.
Re: ManUre v Everton (FA Cup)
we are still on course for a very nervy 1-2 win

Onana....gives the ball away, wins it back, gives it away again, wins it back, gets injured. All in the space of about 2.5 seconds. Great fun.
Re: ManUre v Everton (FA Cup)
Successfully dragging United down to our level at the moment. That's impressive, as it's a long way down to our level.
Re: ManUre v Everton (FA Cup)
Lol, Coleman SMASHES a 5 yard pass at Iwobi. Not surprisingly, it bounces off him. Good save from Pickford from the resulting counter - that shot came at him in on a really awkward trajectory.
Still good fun, this. It's got a "driving down the wrong side of the motorway while pissed" sort of vibe. It should end in tears but we might get lucky.

HT 1-1
not bad tbh ... we are deffo better with 3 CB's
still don't care a lot, but if we don't lose it's a confidence builder for the Saints game I suppose

Half time thoughts...
Gray generally excellent, a couple of goals has got his confdence back.
Apart from Onana giving it away a couple of times and Gueye getting skinned by Rashford, the midfield three have hung on and been decent.
We've worked really fucking hard. We're terrible but we're trying. Maupay exemplifies that. At least he runs....
But get Simms on FFS. Maybe he's crap but maybe he's not. He'll certainly have a physical presence to help counter their press by allowing us to go long.

Feared the worst when it appeared we were trying to “play football” rather than sit deep, shithouse and break. But we did ok. We still don’t have the players to knock it about and I’m crying out just to knock it long. We put ourselves under so much pressure losing the ball in our own final third.

Simms is 7 ft 11. Get him on. Varane always shits bricks against a big striker and he's got Shaw back there for company.

Yeah he's coming off. Looks like he's in tears. Could be a season-ender if that's ligaments.
The devil spunks in our cornflakes once again. That's disastrous.
Re: ManUre v Everton (FA Cup)
Coady OG. Not his fault. Rashford v Coleman isn't a fair fight.
This is no longer fun.

ManUre cockneys singing "sacked in the morning" at Frank.
I mean, they've had a fair bit of practice singing that song at their own managers in the last 10 years, so they should be note-perfect by now.
We've not had a kick since that double anal-fucking by the footballing Gods.
