Re: Everton V Norwich City
Listening on the OS today. Sounds terrbile, one of those where we just want the 3 points and move on.
One negative of James leaving for me is that we won't get on the tele so much over here this season.

From the BBC text update earlier...
Alex Iwobi is trying to find Salomon Rondon but his cross is miles away.

Re: Everton V Norwich City
Not a great game by any measure, but three points are really all we wanted before the game started so mission accomplished.
Highlights? Not many, but Doucoure is a beast. I thought Allan did well also. I was surprised to see Townsend being subbed since he did provide a bit of spark.
Rondon - where do I start? Did he really do anything today to warrant another starting spot? He does have some magnificent teeth though. I'd rather play Simms even though I really know nothing about him.

Re: Everton V Norwich City
Rafael Benitez on Everton's best start at home since 1989-90: "I didn't know that until today. I'm really pleased with that and hopefully we can carry on against Manchester United [next week]."
On Everton's injuries: "The rest of the players have to work even harder and it's good to see them scoring goals. Now we have to relax and recover, but it's important to bring those players back as soon as possible."
On whether he expected this start: "Watching them in training, I expected we could do well, but in the Premier League you never know. I'm quite happy and I think that we will get better."
