Maybe I'm being harsh here but he should have got a firmer hand to that.
Ah well.
Dunno, that shot is still travelling. Proper thumper.
I think he's a twat so I'm biased. But he got there. I think he should have stopped it.
Still, it wasn't Allison-level hi-jinks was it?
Re: Everton v Citeh
we should have brought James & King on

I'm not liking Carlo Style of Play, its typical Italian defensive play and hit on attack, we have seen this play out so many times this season, you play the defensive style too long the inevitability happens,
you then spend the entire game chasing lost course.
Honestly believe we got Carlo Anchelotti five years to late, his best years have long gone, he took off the only two energetic players in Davies and Iwobie, for Rodriguez and King, pushed Sigurdsson into defensive midfield,we are now playing 9 men v eleven, Rodriguez offers nothing with out a target man say DCL, Sigurdsson spends most of his time running round pointing to other players to do his job, captain my arse .we don't have bench players that can make an impact, this project is going to take longer than the finishing of the Cistern chapel.

Honestly Sef, I think it's great for away games & our away stats have gone through the roof because of it...SEFTON wrote:I'm not liking Carlo Style of Play, its typical Italian defensive play and hit on attack, we have seen this play out so many times this season, you play the defensive style too long the inevitability happens,

For home games... no... I think he can only do it at GP because there are no fans there... if the Gwladys was packed there would be uproar...
Imagine if we had our away record with a good home record too... we'd be a force to rightly be in the top 4
Sort out the home approach & we could be really dangerous...
..a few extra players would help, but that's for the summer window... signing the likes of King in January is ridiculous.. it's clear he's crap

He's pragmatic, but we have played some good football at times this season. The team is clearly a work in progress so we need to be patient. In the meantime, we can console ourselves with being in 7th place, only 5 points (with a game in hand) off 4th, and above Spurs and Arsenal. We've taken points off the Sky clubs this season (which we never used to do) and have a manager that has and will attract some quality players. There will be bumps on the road but we're heading in the right direction.
