(and sounds like it was a stonewall penalty)
The OS says ...
38' GOAL! Everton 1-0 Brighton - Richarlison
He's done it this time!
It's a brilliantly taken goal from the Brazilian. Lucas Digne laid the ball off to him about 15 yards out. Richarlison then expertly swivelled to work a shooting opportunity before placing an accurate shot into the far corner.

Keane with a chance from a Siggi freekick but Duffy gets a slight touch on the ball and Keane can't adjust.

GOAL - Everton 1-0 Brighton
Richarlison
A wonder goal from the Brazilian!
Lucas Digne finds Richarlison - back on the pitch after treatment to a knee injury - who evades a couple of challenges before bending past Mat Ryan.
Goodison Park is bouncing.
Re: Angry Birds v Seagulls
HT, 1-0, apart from the goal and the Walcott penalty that should have been, it's been a pretty quiet affair with not that much to excite the crowd.

Just watched the replay, hits him in the chest, no handball.Made 4 Gwladys wrote:OS suggested handball by Webster ??? ... no VAR ???Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:Webster with a crucial block as Bernard unleashes a shot from the edge of the box.

Re: Angry Birds v Seagulls
Richie is rolling around on the pitch after about 10 seconds after a blow to the mid-section.
Re: Angry Birds v Seagulls
Wow, what a chance for Brighton after Davies loses possession near the edge of the box.
Re: Angry Birds v Seagulls
I believe I have said this before..... but Davies as a holding midfielder when he's prone to lose possession is not a (good) solution against lower table teams and generally a terrible solution against top teams.
Re: Angry Birds v Seagulls
Holgate got leveled in the box but nothing given. If he had not exaggerated his fall, it might have been given.
Re: Angry Birds v Seagulls
It's rather windy at Goodison, as Siggi is about to take the corner the blow blows some 4 feet away and he has to go an pick it up and put it back by the corner flag.
Re: Angry Birds v Seagulls
Davies with a poor pass to Siggi and we lose possession, thankfully Brighton take too long and we can get the ball back. Siggi and Davies, not the CM pairing I'd like to see...
Re: Angry Birds v Seagulls
We are so sloppy in the passing, and slow on top of that, not a pleasure to watch.
