Re: Everton vs Fulham Cottagers
Fulham make the last substitution and then one of their players can't continue so they will finish the game with 10 men.
Re: Everton vs Fulham Cottagers
Great 3 points, and much needed as well!
If Fulham had been a bit more clinical, similar to us against Arsenal, they could have at least gotten a point today based on their two sublime first half chances.
The second half was much better from us and in the end it was rather comfortable.
It's a funny old game that way.

3 important point there. It takes a bit of pressure off and a clean sheet as well. Good that’s Siggy got on the team sheet after missing the penalty.

I won't be holding my breath though.
Yep, was a great outing indeed. Anyone want to pay for me to go to the next game?

Can't see any reason why Bernie, Richie and Walcottee can't be a viable front line.
DCL ain't cutting it. Tosun, maybe, but only if he gets set up like this one.
The real weakness is CM. Let's hope the other injured one has been worth the wait.

Yes, yes and yes.
Though actually I like Bernard coming on when Richarlison tires, or the other way round. Both of them gave the opposition massive headaches, so to see one Brazilian go off and a fresh Brazilian come on after 60 mins would really fuck with their heads. If we are going to play Tosun or DCL, it's Tosun every time for me. They're both average as fuck, but DCL is not just average as fuck, he's a bit shit too unfortunately.
I think many of our problems so far this season have actually been due to a very weak midfield. West Ham totally dominated us there, and even Fulham looked better than us in the middle of the pitch in the first half. I thought Gana played well, but he needs someone really creative and positive alongside him, and that's not Davies or Schneiderlin IMO. If it's not Gomes, then we're in trouble because I don't think we have anyone else on our books who could improve us there.
I also thought Keane was good yesterday. And Kenny played a couple of lovely passes. Overall though, a better team than Fulham would have beaten us. We're mid table at best right now.

Gomes and Mina have pressure

Re: Everton vs Fulham Cottagers
Enjoyed the second half. Did well to come back from the missed penalty. As above the CM is weak. Pity as our wide players are decent.
Just out of interest what is the quickest was to get back to central Liverpool post match, I ended up getting the train. Looked for a taxi but pretty academic even after going for a pint in the Thomas Frost post game to let the crowds disburse.
I am planning next match for me to go to is home v Cardiff in November

Cab if you're quick out, but I usually go train.
CM is the big issue. Everyone says we don't have any decent strikers, which is fair enough, but we aren't exactly putting chances on a plate for them either.
