Re: Stoke City V Everton
Funny thing is that the service to Lukaku has been very lacking, he's probably touched the ball no more than 5-6 times in the half it seems like, but we are still 3-0 up. Go figure.
Re: Stoke City V Everton
good one from Toffeeweb:
Breaking new ground today. 3-3 from 3-0 up. Good on us for trying new things.
Re: Stoke City V Everton
I don't like Lukaku's body language. His pass towards Cleverly is too soft and Stoke can intercept, Lukaku then throws his arms around. Maybe it was in personal disappointment, but it didn't look good to me.

Good day at the office. Is it just me, or does the defence look a little more comfortable in front of Joel?
Re: Stoke City V Everton
I think the defence is also playing simpler, no ticky-tacky around the box.Hinchcliffe Corner wrote:Good day at the office. Is it just me, or does the defence look a little more comfortable in front of Joel?
Re: Stoke City V Everton
I can see Stoke taking some shots at goal from distance with the wind blowing as hard as it is and with a slick pitch.

Re: Stoke City V Everton
Barkley and Lukaku with a good give and go but Barks blasts his effort wide. Could have gone down and probably got a penalty.
Re: Stoke City V Everton
barks should have gone down then.
