12. Marcus Hahnemann - picking up the cones
Apparently coming in on a short term deal?
Makes sense I suppose if we are continuing to play Mucha in the Cup, an injury to Howard and\or Mucha would leave us a tad exposed.

Re: 12. Marcus Hahnemann - picking up the cones
Skysports.com understands Everton are set to sign goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann on a short-term deal until January.
David Moyes is keen to bolster his options by bringing in the USA international, who is a free agent following his release by Wolves at the end of last season.
The former Reading, Fulham and Colorado Rapids shot-stopper has plenty of top-flight experience under his belt from his time at Molineux and with the Royals.
He will join compatriot Tim Howard on the books of the Merseyside club and will provide cover for Moyes' No.1 shot-stopper alongside Slovakia international Jan Mucha.
Mucha was named in the starting line-up for the midweek Carling Cup success against West Brom, but Howard will take his place between the posts for Saturday's Premier League clash with Manchester City.
The deal may not be completed in time for the game, which is being shown live on Sky Sports HD2, so Mucha is due to take his place on the bench this weekend.
Hahnemann will hope to do enough during the next few months with the Toffees to earn an extended deal with the Premier League club.

His kicking was awful!!
He didn't command the goal area like Howard.
A couple of crosses were definitely his, but he didn't go for it.
Then he wiped out Vellios with an ill judged punch near the end.
He would make me nervous in a Premiership game. (he made me nervous ..)

We're saved!
Hahnemann is a fair option. We're hardly going to be paying him shed loads, but decent back up.

Not a bad call. Had considered that, but I can't see who'd want to buy Mucha. Maybe someone in europe?

I actually knew that he was into metal. I read in FourFourTwo, I think it was, that he was into metal, but when asked what his favourite band was (at the time, this was some 3 years ago or so) he said Tool. Now that's cool as well, but not really metal if you know what I mean. Looking forward to hearing this effort on youtube in the near future!
Cheers for the link!
Re: 12. Marcus Hahnemann - picking up the cones
Sounds good, with a great, albeit a tad long, intro. I have seen tons of these kind of bands live opening up to the main act, but these guys seem to have what it takes to make it.
Re: 12. Marcus Hahnemann - picking up the cones
contract ended - sat on his backside for a while picking up a nice earner.
