Barkley's performance the single positive thing about that game. So so depressing

I agree Helen. Barkley must wonder what he has got himself in for. The rest of the players were a disgrace.

someone had his shirt on.... no midfield apart from Barkley and he was popping up all over the place, probably where he shouldn't have been.
Defence looked okay apart from two slips by Jags, he always has a few dodgy games early on, lets hope thats it.
Can't get over how little grip we had on the midfield. At least we ended up with 52% possession.
Season will start with an away match, as usual.

I'm no Mystic Meg, but even I can foresee a long hard season ahead with little sign of relief,
We really, really, really need a striker. I would personally sell Jagielka for £15 million to fund a striker.
Beckford is not and will never be Premier League quality, Saha is never fit, Yakubu is never arsed and Anichebe is plain shit.
Cahill is losing it now because of age and we cannot continue to rely on midfielders to score the goals anyway.
Wank, fucking wank.
Re: Premier League: Everton 0 QPR 1
I'm really not sure we should bother with this footie lark this season. Anyone fancy a change? A knitting circle perhaps?
There must be better things I can waste my time, energy and emotions on?

I thought Baines did all right but the left wing position was changed so often that there was little stability there. 1 up front didn't work. If sean derry is running the midfield game then it is team to have a long hard thing.

I can't knit but I suppose Everton can't play football either.
Is it knit one purl one or purl one knit one?

Baines did try to be fair and almost scored. He must wonder what he could do at Man City.

After the goings on this week and today's game, if I was Baines I would definitely have a little word with my agent. Fellaini was hopeless, but he must be looking for a new club too, cos when he's fit he could do better than us.
Anal fucking lube.

Baines hit the bar and Cahill missed an open goal....we could of had a great start to the season. Why do I always get wound up when I know we start slowely the past few years.

Re: Premier League: Everton 0 QPR 1
Bit of shell shock there. Bar Barkley, everyone else walked around in a daze. Beckford gave the ball up for fun before he came off but then so did Fellaini (earned a big contract there Felly!), then Ossie had a horror last 20 mins. The team just looks so unbalanced with none of the players out wide comfortable to attack the byline. The game passed so many of them by. Heitinga doesnt looked like he would ever impose himself on midfield. Then what the fuck was Saha doing when he came on, playing 20 yards out from penalty box.
Fairplay to QPR, it was an excellent defensive performance by them in second half and deserved the 3 points for the guts and determination.
Maybe the game was Moyes just showing to Bill how badly he needs new blood. But none of our guys put themselves in the shop window to be sold anyway!
Ratings;
Howard:7 Could do nothing about goal and nothing else to do for rest of match.
Baines:7 Unlucky with freekick. Misses Pienaar out there.
Jagielka: 6 At fault for goal, attracted to ball and not Smyth.
Distin:6 Bit hairy at times.
Neville:5 Awful going forward
Osman:4 Got worse as game went on
Heitinga: 5 The game went on around him
Barkley:8 Looks very comfortable, desperate to get things going but got no help from those around him
Cahill: 6 Should have scored but partnership with Beckford not effective. Doesnt have the guile to play in the hole.
Beckford: 5 Just isnt a target man. Should be playing off someone, cant hold up ball or pass.
Subs;
Arteta:6 Never got into game as QPR crowded him out
Fellaini:5 Few neat first few touches then it all went wrong. 3/4 offsides?
Saha: 5 Played too far out from goal. Didnt get a sniff.

I would give them:
Ratings;
Howard:6 Not to blame for the goal.
Baines:6 Started brightly and did try but created little.
Jagielka: 5 Looked laboured and not on form.
Distin:4 Gave the ball away a few times and lacked concentration.
Neville:3 Gave the ball away almost everytime he touched the ball, he can't get forward and backs off it attack.
Osman:2 Never noticed him after the 3rd minute.
Heitinga: 4 Did fuck all. Tried a few Hollywood ball but failed.
Barkley:7 Our best player... I feel sorry for him.
Cahill: 5 Missed a sitter. Didn't really impose himself.
Beckford: 3 Looked a couple of steps off the pace. Would suit the Championship or League 1.
Subs;
Arteta:3 Did nothing in open play and his set pieces were shite.
Fellaini:4 Looked a lazt cunt but did a couple of knock downs which would be good if we had a decent striker.
Saha: 4 Did nothing of note and seemed to play as a midfielder.
Re: Premier League: Everton 0 QPR 1
Shane Long just scored against Chelsea. He showed strength, determination and skill. Fucking hell.
Re: Premier League: Everton 0 QPR 1
Arteta, Saha and Fella had almost no pre-season and just weren't themselves. Should have had ressies on the bench.

We are turning into a joke of a team.

yeah it was painfully obvious when they came on that they were nowhere near ready. In hindsight he should have left Rodwell on, brought on Vellios rather than Saha and maybe Fellaini for just ten minutes as a last gamble
Re: Premier League: Everton 0 QPR 1
We clearly missed big Vic orchestrating the show

If it's any consolation, the Gooners are even more suicidal than we are today after what they witnessed at the Emirates. Mind you, I'd swap with them.

Yes, fucking Moyes, what's he got against Vic - should be the first name on the team sheet.

I thought that Pip Neville was a big weakeness in our side today which doesn't bode well because Moyes will never drop him.

If Moyes drops us we could do worse than Hodgson.
