Re: 22:Ayegbeni Yakubu - being fed on Chicken!
Hopefully Moyes wont cut of his nose to spite his face. If we dont get decent money for him he should stay as we need a quality striker and lets be honest he probably is out best finisher inside the box. I would rather keep him then sell him for 4 or 5 million and let the banks eat up the money

Re: 22:Ayegbeni Yakubu - being fed on Chicken!
From Toffeeweb:
With no clubs showing much interest in taking Aiyegbeni Yakubu off Moyes's hands, it appears he may well stay on Everton's books — and payroll — until his contract runs down in June 2012. The once a prolific 51-year-old Premier League striker seems prepared to sit it out in the reserves until the end of the season to secure a free transfer (and sign-on bonus?).

I may have altered that.
It says 28 in the original but I'm not having that.

Another missed opportunity for Bobby, how many of these opportuinities is he going to let slip
Re: 22:Ayegbeni Yakubu - being fed on Chicken!
I like the Yak. He was great at one on ones, just muscling the defender or turning the defender then scoring.
Only thing was he seldom scored against SHite, Man U, Arse, Chelsea

33-year old? I assume they meant 23.

Former Everton striker Yakubu to play for National League club Boreham Wood.
National League club Boreham Wood have confirmed that the former Everton and Nigeria striker Yakubu Aiyegbeni will feature for them against Reading in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.
The 33-year-old striker, who also counts Reading among his former clubs, last played professionally for the Turkish outfit Kayserispor.
Yakubu, who has been capped 57 times by his country, was a revelation after being signed by Harry Redknapp at Portsmouth before joining Middlesbrough in 2005.
The striker, who is expected to play some part for the fifth-tier club against Championship side Reading, is believed to be on trial with the Hertfordshire outfit.
Meanwhile, Reading have announced the signing of the Le Havre striker Joseph Mendes on a two-year contract, to become Jaap Stam’s third summer signing since joining the club in June.

Coventry will be doing well if they even exist next season.
