Prediction
Everton v Fulham
OK, I'm starting this early after 5 undefeated official friendlies.
Gloom abounds my mind after our pathetic showing in the transfer market during the break... we have added a zimmer framed full back and a winger who rejected us in January. We still have Maupey who is possibly the worst player to ever wear the shirt (I preferred Mo Besic and I suspect Bubbles would prefer McFadden).
That said our opening home games have typically produced a point or 3, so I'm going for a cautious boring 0-0 opener with Pickford as the man of the match... and DCL coming on in the 75th minutes & going off injured in the 82nd.
I am not optimistic.... is anyone ?

Not optimistic for three points. But we'll be hard to beat so hopefully will get a point.

I'm going full gloom and doom, just for the craic like. We'll lose 0-3 and be down by Christmas on minus points.

Re: Everton v Fulham
This has got 1-1 written all over it, Doucoure equalising in the 87th minute with our first shot on target.
At least Tarks is fit, so our team won't look much worse than the one that escaped relegation at the end of last season.
Very excited for Maupay to lead the line again, it's almost like watching a professional footballer, but one that is really fucking shit.

Re: Everton v Fulham
If Tarks plays, 1-1, if he doesn't 1-2. Now we have signed a striker, Mopey will actually score a blinder, then fuck all for the next 20 games.

Re: Everton v Fulham
Afternoon guys, some things don’t change DCL says he’s fit, Dyche doesn’t, so starts Maupay.
Since June we been looking for a striker , Kenwright spending what little money if any on exboard members.
Well let’s hope Maupay scores and we secure three points .
Going for 2-1 Maupay and Dajuma.UTFTs.

Re: Everton v Fulham
It’s as solid a team as we could realistically expect. If we can be solid and capitalise at corners and set pieces we could get three points.

Decent effort from Iwobi.
Not a huge amount of quality but we're playing OK.

Goal ruled out by VAR. Not sure why, keeper dropped the ball.

Re: Everton v Fulham
HT. Fulham played the better football but we've had all the chances. Unfortunately they have mainly fallen for Maupay so haven't gone in. But at least he is getting in good positions, which is an improvement on last season. We were unlucky to have the goal ruled out - Leno just dropped the ball, no real foul.

Re: Everton v Fulham
FT. Played well enough to earn at least a point, probably three. Just need a striker- who'd have thought?
