Just read that VAR is in use tonight
Tonight’s Carabao Cup game at Goodison Park will see the use of a video assistant referee (VAR) in an Everton match for the first time.
VAR is being used as part of the English Football League’s commitment to trial the technology this season.
Three other Carabao Cup second round matches are also part of the trial.

Everton should be two in front.
Millers goalkeeper Lewis Price spills Sandro Ramirez's vicious long-range strike and goalscorer Gylfi Sigurdsson somehow scoops the follow up over the bar.

Re: Rotherham
Everton should be home and dry by now.
Striker Oumar Niasse shows excellent footwork to carve open an opportunity, but no team-mate is on hand to grab the second goal from inside the six yard box.

sounded like a good run out. Obviously still defensive issues if we are conceding from corners still. Hopefully see it tonight.

Sandro just doesn't have enough for the Premiership. Couple of shots but his footwork is predictable and lacks pace, strength and heading ability. Woops there it is.
Zouma, known as Monty to his friends, looks like a big thumper. Nothing stylish about the man, but let's see against Huddersfield.
Digne, known as Dixie to his friends, looks pretty good going forward. Tricky too. A good winger would be a good test.
DCL will be pushing Cenk for the starting spot.
Niasse was awful, bless him.
btw, Anyone know what's the scoop on Bernard (known as Micky to his friends). Missing tonight.
