Good side Valencia. Going after Coleman’s wing a lot but apart from their first goal he’s been alert. Richarlison could become a cult figure,. Gana excellent. Walcott must have run 10k by now. Tosun managing the ball well, nice to have a striker with a first touch.

Digne looks decent.

Not sure Digne has passed backwards or sideways yet. Positive play! Can cross a ball too, Richarlison just failing to connect with the high speed daisy cutter.
Only errors have involved him being in the same space as another blue.

All about getting minutes, I suppose. We looked good until the subs.
Lookman took 10 minutes to get started so I’m not sure he’s an impact sub, we need a wider pitch to make the most of him. Richarlison does so much more in the same space.
Tom for Gana isn’t like for like. A candidate for a loan out, maybe abroad.

Defence an utter shambles as in every game this summer.  Was Lookman actually on the pitch in that last ten minutes?  All I could see was a small child keeping out of the way of the ball in case he got injured and it fucked his transfer to Leipzig.

Front three look fun, but I can't see them scoring more than we concede many times this season.  I reckon we'll need to score four times to win at all this season, cos we look incapable of conceding less than three right now.

IMO Richarlison has been the stand-out player since he arrived. Should be a decent front line. I'd agree with that line up, but ideally with a new signing replacing Beni. I thought Baines was poor first half, but he does link up well with Richarlison.

How many chances is Silva going to give Sandro? He's not adding anything to the team.

I would underline though that if we start the season with today's defence, we are likely to be in the shit by Christmas however good the rest of the team perform.

Beni and Gana fill the same space, except Beni is a bit more disciplined, so that's my 2DM format.
