18. Gylfi Sigurðsson - Ice Blue

Looked extremely good last night, not just the goal, but his passing and finding space.  He looked a different class to the rest of the team.

Yes, with him and Rooney we've upped our class content by a million percent. And Pickford too. Throw in Keane's performances so far and you have to start getting a bit excited.... and DCL is starting to look like he might be the next Harry Kane....

However I've managed to score a ticket for the Chelsea game and wouldn't be surprised if we're brought down to earth with a bump. Wouldn't be the end of the world, cos I still think we're going to do well this season.

Not convinced by DCL, I suspect he is more of the next DC (Danny Cadamarteri), he needs to start scoring

It doesn't help when Koeman plays him out wide. When he played down the middle against Man City he had a great game.

It looks as though Gylfi Sigurdsson will see specialist later today after sustaining a knee injury during their 2-0 win over Brighton on Saturday.

There are concerns that Everton's record signing could be out for the remainder of the season, which would be quite a loss and also cause consternation in Reykjavik at the Icelandic FA.

Sigurdsson, 28, has created 38 goalscoring chances, 13 more than any other Everton player since arriving at Goodison Park for £45m last summer.

In a way its not the end of the world as long as he makes the World Cup. Its not as if we need him as their is damn all to play for and its gives the opportunity to another player i.e. Klassen to get a run of games. Bar the upcoming home games against Citeh and Shite we have a pretty tame run in which will probably be a series of non-events so Gylfi should have the time to rest and get ready for the World Cup.

DC United could be interested. Allegedly. Maybe. Possibly.
