Everton v Watford
No doubt the team will all have their buckets and spades in their kitbags again*, instead of their boots, but it's time for my annual game and a half of thread starting.
Niasse to be recalled and start instead of Lukaku, the rest of the team to be replaced by the under-23s. 23-0 Watford, all OGs.
*me too - off to ref in a kids rugby tournament in Freeport, with the flight leaving just after the final whistle.

Re: Everton v Watford
File under "does anyone really give a fuck?"
We will probably lose. Calvert Lewin will play and be really shit again. Kenny at right back will get us all excited about the future. Lukaku will play statues and wonder why no offers are made for him in the close season. Baines will bomb forward, then stop when he gets the ball and pass it back to Williams. Whichever goalie we pick will make two great saves and one schoolboy error.
1-0, an Elton John screamer

With the exception of Seamus, this probably our strongest line up.

Pretty gloomy weather over Goodison.
Based on the pre-game activities, it really looks like a game which might not mean that much to either side.

Re: Everton v Watford
And a 3rd corner causes havoc in the box, but we can ultimately clear. Need to get the midfield involved and start controlling the pace of the game.
