Everton 'ready to sell' Schneiderlin - reports
Everton are willing to sell midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin for a “knockdown” fee this summer, according to reports.

The France international is close to entering the final year of his contract at Goodison Park, and Football Insider claim that the Toffees are willing to part ways with the player this summer.

The report states that the Blues are prepared to sell the 30-year-old for as little as £5m when the transfer window reopens, which would show a significant loss on the £24m paid to Manchester United in 2017.

Following the arrival on Carlo Ancelotti in December, Schneiderlin has made just four appearances in the Premier League.

Everton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has completed a transfer to French club Nice for an undisclosed fee. Former Southampton player Schneiderlin, 30, joined Everton from Manchester United in January 2017.

The Frenchman made 88 appearance, 71 from the start, and scored his loan Everton goal against West Bromwich Albion at Goodison Park two months after arriving.

Ligue 1 club Nice, managed by former Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira, finished fifth in the French top-flight in 2019/20.

Everton Football Club would like to thank Morgan for his service during his time with the Club and wishes him every success for the future.

There was talk of £2m which is a terrible return, however, he was earning 100k a week. Getting that off the payroll gives them some breathing space.
