I hope the FA now abides by the precedent they've set and bans every Man City/Shite/ManUre player who goes down under pressure next week.
No fucking way that will happen though. Ridiculous decision, it's just scapegoating.

You know the FA won't allow the ruling to apply to SKY-6
Re: Oumar Niasse 14
Anyone know how many players have been booked for diving for a penalty, this season?

Farcical. I can't believe this is the first incident where someone has dived in the Premier League this season, or I'm I just being cynical?

It’s certainly clear that MOTD all said it was a dive and we should look at it
Shearer thought he might get away with it as there was contact. But let’s look at the future we now have a benchmark of sorts. Aguero , Sterling Mane and Hazard will all need to be on notice and then there is Bardy

Closer to Home Da Judge, how many penalty's will we get knocked back on? The FA have made a rod for their own backs.
Re: Oumar Niasse 14
Even if it's arguably the right decision in isolation, I'm sure my fellow rugby ref Da Judge will agree that the time to implement a 'no tolerance' policy was at the start of the season, not a third of the way through.

Let's see how many more get pulled up until the end of the season, I'm guessing you will be able to count them on one hand.

That is my argument..... It was introduced and thus far we appear to have been the first that is “blatant” - I disagree. Simulation occurs all over the pitch. We lost Schneiderlin against City when there was no contact for a second yellow. Where was the simulation review then?
Sterling has dived a number of times outside the box looking for a free kick... what about the Dele Ali dive already spotted this season...
The only consistency is the inconsistency

sky teams will be exempt... the obvious ones will never be pulled up.. sterling, steptoe, ali, aguero, etc...Da Judge wrote:mindyerRhinoBwana? wrote:Even if it's arguably the right decision in isolation, I'm sure my fellow rugby ref Da Judge will agree that the time to implement a 'no tolerance' policy was at the start of the season, not a third of the way through.

the FA have really made a serious mistake here.. it wasn't even truly blatant like the diving cheating racist goofy redshite bastard used to do... there will be shouts from the rooftops every game now & they can't ignore them really can they ??

Crystal Palace are targeting two new strikers. They have agreed a £12m fee for West Ham's 28-year-old Senegalese striker Diafra Sakho and will bid £13m for Everton's 27-year-old Senegalese forward Oumar Niasse. (Evening Standard)

Yeah, and even though I like Oumar as a person (not that I have met him), but he'll get limited playing time and we might just as well get him off the books then.Made 4 Gwladys wrote:Palace were a whisker away from signing Oumar before weren't they ?...The President wrote:Crystal Palace are targeting two new strikers. Re: Oumar Niasse 14
I think he has shown character to come back and redeem himself to a point after the way he was treated. But clearly not the type of player to push us into top 6. Wish him all the best where ever he goes. Would imagine he would score a bucket load of goals at a decent club in the Championship.

Ironically, I would actually compare him more to Amokachi.
Former Everton striker Daniel Amokachi says that Oumar Niasse has the spirit to be one of the club’s great goalscorers.
The 27-year-old is back in the first team after being frozen out by Ronald Koeman last campaign and suffered the humiliation of having to play with the U23s before being loaned out to Hull City in January.
However it’s been a change of fortunes for the striker this season, impressing new boss Sam Allardyce with a string of good performances topped with important goals.
And former Blues forward Amokachi believes that Niasse shares a similar desire as Harry Kane to score goals, and explained exactly why.
“If you get a chance and don’t hit the back of the net, then you forget it and focus on the next chance,” Amokachi told evertonfc .com.
“That is what makes Harry Kane one of the best number nines in the world.
“You remember the game against Liverpool at Anfield (when Tottenham Hotspur drew 2-2 with Liverpool earlier this month) - he missed a penalty, another one came in the last minute and he took it and scored.
“That is the kind of spirit Oumar has, and that is what you want to see from a striker.”
Ironically, I would actually compare him more to Amokachi.
