Southampton v Everton @ St Marys 20/12/2014
So following on from Monday’s 3pts against QPR, we make the 238 mile trip to St Marys to play a Southampton team who have surprised a fair few people with the start they have made this season.
That said, they are currently on a 5 game winless streak, with their last win coming back in November against Leicester. So hopefully this run will continue when Roberto Martinez’s boys hit town.
We are all waiting to hear the extent of the injury that Miralles picked up last night; will this mean a start for either Eto’o or Kone? We will just have to wait and see.
Anyway as I will be at St Mary’s quietly cheering on the lads (got to sit in the Southampton end, as left it too late purchasing tickets) I am confident that the lads will want to put on a performance for Lulu’s birthday, so will happily predict a score line of…….
Southampton 1 Everton 3

Taking positive thinking that this could be a good time to play the saints.
0-2 Everton. Eto'o double.

Another defeat for Southampton tonight. 1-0 to Sheff Utd in League Cup. Their bubble is well and truly burst. Not sure that is good or bad thing but probably going to see two sides on Saturday not very high in confidence.

It's better for us that they lost, definitely. Had they won then they would have had a platform on which to rebuild - now they have to try and get that first win for ages against us, which is better for us than them having been given a confidence boost.

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman reveals that midfielder Dusan Tadic will miss their home game against Everton on Saturday as the Saints look to end a five-match losing run. Teenager Jake Hesketh is also out with the knee injury he sustained at Burnley last weekend.
Steven Davis and top scorer Graziano Pelle are also doubtful as the Saints' recent workload takes its toll.

Southampton really struggling to put out a team tomorrow. Could be a real opportunity to nab a win now.

Think he'll replace Barkley. Would expect MArtinez to be slight defensive at the start rather than go for glory.
