Saints v Everton
I'd rest Gordon, give McNeil some game time - he's due a goal.
2-1. Coady and McNeil
2-1. Coady and McNeil

I didn't see this post, so I deleted my post and I'll add it here instead.
A great away win. These are the kind of games that we should look at winning, the opponent is right next to us in the table.
I thought we were the better team in the first half by quite a margin, but didn't manage to make the right decisions at the right time and the chance went begging.
Southampton with the better play in the last 25-30 minutes, but we managed to hold on.

Re: Saints v Everton
McNeil, despite the goal, is very frustrating to watch. He manages to make the incorrect decision with the ball most of the time, pretty amazing really.
Re: Saints v Everton
Don't want to this to sound like I'm not happy with the win, but Gray is also struggling. Thankfully we have Iwobi. Who would have thought or said that a year ago?
Re: Saints v Everton
It was a tough watch but great result. Better to forgot that game and move on.

Re: Saints v Everton
Another three points ,Lampard favourite for the chop start the season? , DCL another week away form being included in the squad ,rolls on .yet are fan base is second to none fantastic away support again today more so with the rail strike .read some early posts about Gordon being rested couldn’t agree more and to give McNeil game time helps both players .the only negative is Demari grey doesn’t offer much in the game for me maybe he needs a rest.a few attacking players in the January window could strengthen the squad that could lead up to challenge for maybe UEFA football.Frank is doing something right and credit to Kevin Thelwel for getting rid high earners bringing in grafters it’s not gone unnoticed amongst the fans.Leicester midweek three points up for grabs we are four points from fourth so keeping in touch could give us are best season in a long time may it continue for a long time.
Re: Saints v Everton
Don't get carried away, I keep on saying. We might still be in a relegation battle, I preach regularly.
Two wins, that's all it took. I picked my eldest up from the airport today, 30 minutes after the game ended, and the first thing I said to him was "we're only four points off 4th."
So, fuck it, let's just enjoy this bit of positivity, we've waited long enough for it.

MOTD. 2 red cards for tackles to the ankle.
What was the difference to Dick van Dyke on Onana?
As for us, defending way too deep, and leaving scary amount of room outside the box.
Some players looked a bit wary after the int. break.
A week to recover and press on.
.....and....Trossard!!

Exactly, and the Coady offside was different by how much from that Liverpool VAR decision again.
Talking VAR the refs who "managed the Thiago Silva" deliberate handball incident doesn't he have form with us for something similar (although to be fair that did stop the Shoite winning the title).
