Huddersfield v Everton
Ah, the League Cup. Graveyard of Evertonian hopes and dreams for so long.
Feel free to reminisce here about our most glorious League Cup moments. My favourite was Bakayoko trying to take a penalty with his trakky top still on.
Team: Begovic, Kenny, Holgate, Keane, Branthwaite, Gbamin, Nkounkou, Townsend, Davies, Iwobi, Kean.
I say Huddersfield 1 Everton 3 (Kean, Nkounkou, Hinchcliffe)

My streak of Everton getting results in games I don't watch is now at 3...
I'm sticking with this until we lose one. I don't think I'll be watching a game until
My lad had a stream going and basically summarised Kean's red card as "it was harsh but he's just a twat anyway."

Two minutes worth of highlights here. Looks like my lad's summary was pretty accurate.

Ok Mr Rodriguez ,hope memory comes back.
On a serious note struggling to see who should be are centre backs
Mina-Kean-Holgate don’t give me any confidence at all, Coleman at RB we’re is the pace coming from?
Godfrey is a Centre Back but who do you pair him with? Why we are not all over Zouma I don’t know.

Godfrey is our best CB. Mina's fine, IMO, I rate him higher than most, I think.. Holgate isn't a starter but is worth keeping for as a versatile squaddie. Keane has gone downhill very quickly.
I too would like us to get Zouma but I don't think we've got the money, Sef.

Yep, Godfrey and Mina for me. Holgate isn't great, but he can do a job and offers some sort of cover at RB. Keane was decent last season. Hasn't started this one well but must surely improve.

Yeah I'm for Godfrey and Mina out of the ones that we have. But I'd sell Holgate, he must be worth a few quid and he's shite at everything except chewing gum and thinking he's the dog's bollocks.
Zouma is going to West 'am isn't he? We should sign that centre back from QPR who keeps scoring rocket goals.

Just wondered are all Everton managers narrow minded, Martinez- Koeman-Silva-Allardyce, we needed a centre back for a few years, Zouma came on loan we should bought him, Michael Kean-Masson Holgate-Yerry Mina are conceding far to many goals from set pieces. we have needed a right back cover for Coleman near on three years.no wonder we can't hit the top six, we will be lucky to break top ten, its not progress under Benitez its stagnant. we got far too many players with ego's or just stealing a wage. Tosun-Delph-Holgate-Moise Kean-James Rodriguez-Michael Keane-Andre Gomes- Iwobie-Tom Davies . too much baggage to carry considering what we need at the back.
