Agreed. (did he get the foul, for the final free kick?)Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:I'm going to give him a bit more time than that. Get him fit and recon he'll do us a decent job.
4-2-4 at the end. Hugs all around!
Felt like a big win at the end.

DCL - "We are capable of so much more. Every team we play we can compete and eat them. The spirit we showed to get back in the game is what we are about."

Re: Manure v Everton
I read that on the BBC as well. Did he actually say those words? I recall him saying he felt we can compete with any team, but didn't hear the "eat" part.Yankthattoffee wrote:DCL - "We are capable of so much more. Every team we play we can compete and eat them. Re: Manure v Everton
Well that all played out as I expected.
Loved all the pundits, on Sky and BBC, giving plenty of attention to what United did wrong for all our goals, while focusing on the excellence of United's forwards for theirs.
Well yeah, their forwards are great, but we should not have conceded either of their headed goals. We have standards too, you know. We could have won that if we'd defended crosses properly. So you see, boys and girls, we're improving, but we're still not good enough to merit full analysis when we're playing one of the Sky Six. Patronising fuckers.
I'm going easy on Davies for the Fernandes goal because Davies was really good overall and, well, that was just a genius finish.
