Not good at all!

'Looks like a bad one for Allan'
Everton 2-1 West Ham

Leon Osman

Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

As Allan goes off injured...

It’s the gamble you take when you play your first team in these fixtures.

If Everton go through then maybe it’s a gamble that’s paid off but they are big players that Everton will now have to do without in the coming weeks.

It did look like a particularly bad one for Allan.

Comfortable win. Shame about Richie and Allan though. Hopefully we can get through the Brighton game and then it's a two week break for internationals.

Sure hope there is enough quality to take care of Brighton this weekend! They seem to be a bit up and down.

Delph and Siggy should do the job, but that takes us back to 442.

Strange game that. We looked sloppy and off the boil for most of it, but also never really under pressure and easily the best team. Until 3-1 I had visions of us giving a calamity goal away, but all hail DCL. He'll never make it.

Hope the injuries aren't too bad, and hope Southgate stays away from DCL.

I'm sure he'll get a call up, but I can't see him starting ahead of those who play for the Sky 6. Which is fine by me.

Would have preferred Stoke, Newcastle or Brentford but a home draw and not Man Shitteh or Livershite (thank fuck they're out) so a well winnable game. 25 years is a long time without a trophy, maybe, just maybe?? It's the hope that gets you!!!
