Maguire misses from 4 yards out, but he's offside anyway. What a miss.

Cenk Tosun goes into the book as he goes in on Ricardo Pereira with the enthusiasm and grace of a toddler leaping welly-first into a puddle.

The few remaining people in the ground are booing before the ref blows the whistle.

Time to get rid of Silva. He's had 6 months in charge and, despite adding some quality players, we're as rubbish as we were under Bobby, Koeman and Fat Sam.

Starting to look like Silva was a mistake. He's looking exactly like he did at Watford, and in the end at Hull. No ideas. We're ridiculously easy to play against now, you have to be really unlucky or incompetent (like Burnley) to get nothing off us. Even when we were winning games at the start of the seaon, it was against shit teams and even then we were never convincing.

I know Silva should get a proper chance, but I've seen absolutely nothing - here or at his previous PL clubs - to suggest that he is capable of managing at the highest level.

I reckon we're still capable of a top half finsh, just about, although I wouldn't be surprised to see us finish 13th, but I do worry what would happen next season under this fella.

Starting to think are Koeman-Martinez-Allardyce-Silva all related ? most teams have at least two decent strikers ,we have none and we are quickly getting dragged into the lower tier of the Premiership ,Marcel Brands recently said? Only teams in trouble buy players in the winter transfer window,one win in our last eight games indicates we are in trouble.
We still don’t have a nuculous in the team, we have no consistency ,different teams each week,the players look jaded and it’s only half way through the season,sorry but Sigurdsson and Walcott are poor this is not a knee-Jerk reaction both need dropping but the Team doesn’t have many options,the way Richarlison has been playing he’s not worth half his fee,these are just some bits of the feed back I have heard or read.,failure to strengthen in January could seriously leave us fighting another relegation.

I really want to give Silva more time but? The longer it goes on ,What do we do ,wait till we have been relegated ? We all know this project is not going to happen over night so what’s the solution.?

Buy a striker like Batshauyi or loan Eden Dzeko he’s 32 but quality we lack ,maybe at least for the short term, then sort out the team in the summer.

So we're scoring more and conceding less. Viva Silva!

Buy a striker like Batshauyi or loan Eden Dzeko he’s 32 but quality we lack ,maybe at least for the short term, then sort out the team in the summer.

Edin Dzeko: 33 shots for Roma
It’s been a season to forget in Serie A for Edin Dzeko, who is perhaps beginning to show his age. Having followed up a fantastic 29-goal season in 2016–17 with a respectable 16 goals last time around, the 32-year-old has just two league goals in the current campaign. The last of those came against Empoli back in October, with Roma struggling to keep pace with the top three as a consequence.

Still better than this guy though;

Sandro: 59 shots for Malaga, Everton, Sevilla and Real Sociedad
As far as goal droughts are concerned, no one here can compete with Sandro Ramírez. The Spaniard – who spent his teenage years at Barcelona – has failed to score a league goal for any of his last three clubs, including his current, temporary employers Real Sociedad. The young forward struck 14 times for Malaga in the 2016-17 season, so it was seen as something of a coup when Everton secured his signature the following summer, but he has had a torrid time since leaving Andalusia. His last goal came in May 2017. Since then he has attempted 59 shots in 34 league appearances. Here’s hoping the new year proves to be a turning point for Sandro.
