Leicester City v Everton
Everton with the Rhino horn stuffed firmly up their jacksie take on fellow strugglers Leicester at 4pm on Sunday. The foxes lie 4 places above us but are only one point better off.
Now Koekoecachoo has been sent the way of the stardust, the team formation could reveal a whole lot about the way we move forward. Will Rhino stick with the good old 4-4-2 & keep faith in wide men like Mirallas & Lennon ... or will he tighten the middle & bring in Schneider, Gana & co... striker options will also be interesting ... Roo, Sandro, DCL or Niasse... or a combo of those.. or lots & lots of U23 kids who have done so well for him in that league??
For me it will be a combo of experience & kids... like it was at Chavski:
---------- Pickford ------------
Kenny - Keane - Jags - Baines
------ Macca ---- Tom ----------
Mirallas ---------------- Lookman
----------- Rooney -------------
------------- DCL -------------
This is where it starts for Rhino ... we desperately need points on the board
1-2 Vardy... Lookman & Rooney

I'd just like us to keep a clean sheet on this one... and maybe have a few chances at goal, and maybe even score one or two...
.....so I'm going 5-0 to us, With DCL, Lookman, Sandro, Rooney and Niasse all getting on the scoresheet.

Re: Leicester City v Everton
The game is on the TV here in the US. That normally means we under perform. The good thing is that the game is on at 10AM my time, so no need to set the alarm clock.

Good to see he's sticking with the wide players. I think Lennon and Mirallas did enough in the week to earn their starts today.

Agreed. I like that line up - it feels well balanced with players playing their best positions. Keane not on the bench - presumably injured?

Re: Leicester City v Everton
No McCarthy, Vlasic, Klaassen, Keane in the squad. Â Holding them back for Europa, injured or dropped?
Re: Leicester City v Everton
Good to see that there is just one defensive CM, never really understood the need to have both Gueye and Schneiderlin playing at the same time - it was too defensive minded, or cautious one could say.

add Sandro to that list...hairy cataract wrote:No McCarthy, Vlasic, Klaassen, Keane in the squad. Â Holding them back for Europa, injured or dropped?

And the away fans are loud and ready to fully support the team - as always.
Re: Leicester City v Everton
Loads of space for Gray in the middle and he goes for broke, not too bad of an effort, wide of the post from close to 30 yards out.
Re: Leicester City v Everton
Dangerous Leicester corner, Williams' blocks Morgan's effort, another corner.
