Re: Carlisle V Everton (FA Cup 4th round)
I saw Kone turn around briefly and looked at the crowd after he scored, I assumed that someone had made a comment, but racial abuse is sad to hear.Mr_Ben wrote:hairberto cataract wrote:What's Bobby get in a ruck with their manager about?
Racial abuse of Kone/Lennon/Pienaar when we scored. The referee was just informing both managers and 4th official of this.

Carlisle have us right where they want us now. They clearly know that we can't defend a 2-0 lead so right on target to get a lucrative GP replay

Prime example there, Kone in the box with one defender to beat initially, he hesitates and ends up passing the ball back to Lennon instead of taking on the defender.Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:Kone has a good touch, but when was the last time he beat a player when taking him on one on one?
Re: Carlisle V Everton (FA Cup 4th round)
Barks with a great run from the middle of the pitch but his last touch lets him down. Kone then loses the ball out of play.

That shot had a pretty wicked deflection, goalie no chance.
Re: Carlisle V Everton (FA Cup 4th round)
On that Carlisle freekick I felt like Osman was way too early to leave his line, should have been a re-take.
Re: Carlisle V Everton (FA Cup 4th round)
Carlisle might have been just what we needed - a bit of a chance to score some goals and move the ball around without too much of a chance of losing the game.
Re: Carlisle V Everton (FA Cup 4th round)
Cleverly tries to curl an effort around the defender and in to the near post, his effort is a couple of yards wide.
Re: Carlisle V Everton (FA Cup 4th round)
Barkley subbed and I think the vast majority of the crowd clapped him off.
Re: Carlisle V Everton (FA Cup 4th round)
Why did we sell Naismith and keep Kone again? I know that Kone has scored, but his inability to take on the defender is doing my head in, especially when we are playing a League 2 team.
Re: Carlisle V Everton (FA Cup 4th round)
Coleman off for Galloway with about 7 minutes and stoppage time remaining.
Re: Carlisle V Everton (FA Cup 4th round)
Robles about to get in to some trouble there by clearly moving his head forwards towards the Carlisle striker. Thankfully the striker doesn't make a meal out of it.

Off the line by Jagielka.

Galloway's touch lets him down there as he charges in to the box, too bad.
