Swansea v Everton 0-0
The weekend is coming to an end, but the match thread run continues. Up next is a trip to Wales to play Swansea on Saturday afternoon. Hopefully Besic will do the good thing and not be fit to make the starting 11 and the legend that is Steven Naismith will get the start that his hat trick at the weekend deserves.
Swansea go into the game on the back of a defeat against Watford and can only see Everton making it back-to-back defeats for the Swans.
Swansea 1 Everton 3

Re: Swansea v Everton 0-0
Swansea 0-2 Everton.I wonder how many will have stuck Stephen Naismith into their fantasy football team?
Re: Swansea v Everton 0-0
We've got to beat these types of teams if we want to be challenging City for the title in May, so I'm going for a shut out and a 0-1 win for the Blues, Kone to score a hattrick

I took him out and replaced him with Kone cos he wasn't getting much game time.

I did the same Tonts.

Tough, tough game and Gomis is scoring for fun.
Start with Besic and let him rake his studs down Gomis's calf muscle then go off with the reoccurance of the hammy injury

Precautionary note: Make sure Besic only goes onto the pitch without chewing gum in his mouth.

After last week's showing, I can't see how he can start with Besic. Better options now available.Barry Horne's Equaliser wrote:Gravy & Chips wrote:Tough, tough game and Gomis is scoring for fun.

Cant you not see the new tactical genius of Boberto? Start Besic. The opposition line up accordingly. Then haul him off after 10 minutes, throw on a curve ball like Naismith and we will be 4 up before Swansea know what hit them! Easy.

Browning in for Coleman and Naismith starts for Besic as neither pass fitness tests. Gibson sobers up to take place on bench.

Re: Swansea v Everton 0-0
So it's the wingless wonders again. Mirallas must be getting sick of getting splinters in his arse. Lennon is clearly a sub to be brought on to shore things up if we go one up, and FooFoo will get no more then ten minutes at the end if we're chasing the game and one nil down.
I think Bobby got lucky against Chelsea on two counts: firstly we got them at their shittest, and secondly Besic was injured early doors forcing him to bring on our matchwinner Nais. If Besic hadn't got crocked, I think we would have been edged out by a dreadful Chelsea team.
We'll get found out today.
2-1 Swans, two first half goals for them. Mirallas and Lennon and eventually Foo on for the second half, we pull one back in the 83rd minute.

Re: Swansea v Everton 0-0
I have this borderline naive optimism before every game thinking that we will win. Apart from when we play the Shite, then I know we will lose regardless of league position or current form. Hence, I'm going for a 2-1 win today.

Re: Swansea v Everton 0-0
I would have played Deulofeu and Mirallas to push their wingers back. Lukaku must be waiting for the day that we play any winger to give him service upfront.
Re: Swansea v Everton 0-0
Boooooooooooooo! Martinez started the Chelsea game with 3 defensive midfielders which made perfect sense. Why have wingers on the pitch? Boooooooooooooo!!!!Dixie Land wrote:I would have played Deulofeu and Mirallas to push their wingers back. Lukaku must be waiting for the day that we play any winger to give him service upfront.
