Should have been a pen but, to be honest, we don't really deserve anything from this. SPurs have been better than us.

Should have been a pen for them there as well.

Bollocks. All over. Can't really argue with that result. Spurs got their tactics spot on after the first 15 and we just don't know how to pick up the pace.

Spurs tactics, fook all to do with are failure to attack more, going backwards all the time creates a lack of confidence in the team, Barkley once again giving the ball away,to much ,basic is a liability and Lukaku was lack lustre

A high energy game works against our slow-slow-slow build up. Lots of pressure on the likes of Barry, Distin, Besic when they're in possession, and mistakes will eventually happen. Both Spurs goals came as a result of our style of play - faffing around at the back. But when we do it lump it, like Distin did a few times, it just comes back. Spurs flooded the spaces left in our midfield because we had Eto'o and Barks doing much the same job. Luka means we are almost a man down in those situations because nothing sticks. Coleman was isolated beacuse Eto'o and Barks both tend to play centrally. Spurs sussed us out, played a high line, counter-attacked with three players at a time running at our defence, and waited for us to make errors.

2-1 was a fair result. We were okay, Spurs were better.

Agree with that. Thought we looked a bit tired from the Wolfsburg game, but we were ponderous in possession and too slow in the pass. We just got out muscled by spurs. Let's think about that for a while.
