Everton 3 Arsenal 0 (Naismith, Lukaku, Arteta o.g.)
After five league wins on the bounce, we find ourselves in with a chance of fulfilling Bobby's post-appointment promise at the first time of asking. Just seven cup finals to go, but this one is the biggest. I shuddered when I found myself agreeing with Graeme Sourness, but if we are to achieve Champions League football next season then it is most likely to be at the expense of Arsenal, and this makes this game the most significant of our seven must win games.
Luckily for us, the nerves that we showed against Fulham will be put to one side and Anders Limpar, Kevin Campbell and Stephen Hughes will all put in monumental performances. The game will ultimately be settled with five minutes to go, with Mikel Arteta slicing horribly into his own net and securing a memorable 1-0 win to the home team. COYB.

Re: Tipster 2013-14 Season Thread
Depends which Arsenal turns up, and which Everton turns up. If they're shit, we'll win. Otherwise it will be a horrible come-down, they will tonk us by three or four, we will have two players carried off injured and one sent off, the Shite will win the league, we will be relegated, Martinez will go to the Emirates to replace Wenger, Suarez will sign a 50 year contract with the RS, Brenda will be knighted, Goodison Park will fall down, my piles will get worse, it willl rain for six months, Emma Bunton will run off with Sacko, Doris the Tea lady will go on strike, and Mike will close this board down and run off to join the Scientologists.
Re: Tipster 2013-14 Season Thread
We will run rings around Arsenal who will be absolutely crap, they won't be able to string two passes together, and will get five players sent off for trying to kick us off the park, and they will still win 3-0, Kone to get a hat trick.

We'll deserve to win and draw 1-1. Kenny Sansom getting both.
Even if we do snatch a win we won't beat them to 4th.

I am thinking along the same lines as you on this. We'll be on top, but they are normally more lethal in front of goal, and they'll get a point in the end.Goodison_Gringo wrote:We'll deserve to win and draw 1-1. Kenny Sansom getting both.
