We have a corner from the left. Arteta takes it, first man heads it away. We keep the ball though, but it ends up in the goalies hands after a cross into the box is chested down by Fellaini.

1517: Everton have made a solid start at the Britannia Stadium, where returning front man Louis Saha might have won an early penalty had referee Andre Marriner spotted a sly clip on the Frenchman by defender Ryan Shawcross. At the other end, Ricardo Fuller has just gone close for Stoke, pulling a shot wide from a Kenwyne Jones knockdown.

Another Everton corner from the right. Baines takes it and in the end it gets dangerous, but Stoke get a goalkick in the end.

1521: GOALFLASH Sunderland 2-0 Blackburn (Bent)

KopMaestro on Twitter: "Under Megson, Bolton were terrible. Same players under Coyle are terrific. Point is; Roy, it's not the squad, it's YOU!"

1519: A decent chance for Liverpool, after David Ngog's cross finds Fernando Torres on the edge of the six-yard box. His shot is blocked but it loops up for Maxi Rodriguez at the far post and his volley flies across the face of goal.

Sunderland goal: No stopping the Black Cats today, so far anyway. Ahmed Al Muhammadi sends over a wicked cross from the right and Darren Bent, who had gone five games without a goal before today, gets in front of his man to find the net with a glancing header.

Great header I must say. Etherington gets away from Neville by the byline he races in towards the box and crosses for an unmarked Jones who creates loads of pace on the header and places it perfecetly in the corner away from the reach of Howard.

Sheep: I don't know which is the most unlikely in your signature - Everton, Liverpool in cup final or Hibbert playing let alone scoring!!

Pienaar with the ball on the edge of the box but instead of taking the shot he tries to find Cahill and Stoke can clear.

And then Cahill misses a sitter.....

Time we saw Beckford getting a chance isn't it?

Yakubu plays last match but not this week? How can strikers settle with Hokey Cokey selection?

We are also weak in defence without Hibbert. The cross for that goal was badly defended.
