This will, I assume, mean that Nash is out.

Turner more likely, Nash might hang around unless he can find somewhere where he will get a game.
Re: 1: Jan Mucha - Dropsy
I have already written off Turner. Maybe Nash is content with sitting on the bench for all I know, but if he's now the #3 goalie, he'll be loaned out I'd guess.Michael Crosby S74 wrote:Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:Yep.notepad wrote:Deal confirmed on the OS

Re: 1: Jan Mucha - Dropsy
I love mad foreign reserve keepers, they are so erratic and usually make the very easy look hard!! Can't wait for this guy!!

folk's here's the story 'bout Minnie the Moocher

she was the roughest, toughest frail
but Minnie had a heart a big as a whale

she messed around with a bloke named Smokey
she loved him, though he was coke-y
he took her down to Chinatown
and he showed her how to kick the gong around
(hidey-hi's!)
she had a dream about the King of Sweden
he gave her things that she was needin'
gave her a home built of gold and steel
a diamond car, with the platinum wheels
(fast hidey-hi's!)
he gave her a townhouse and his racing horses
each meal she ate was a dozen courses
she had a million dollars worth of nickels and dimes
she sat around and counted them a million times

New Everton goalkeeper Jan Mucha has said that once he knew the Blues were interested in his services, all other potential destinations became irrelevant.
The Slovakian number one has agreed to move from Legia Warsaw to Goodison this summer and will join full time after the 2010 World Cup.
Mucha revealed that other major European clubs were keen on signing him but said his mind was made up once Everton made their intentions clear.
The Legia Warsaw shot-stopper said: "I had many other offers but when I heard 'Everton', I felt 'this is it'.
"I could have gone to Turkey – there were two big bids. If I'd gone, I would have been a millionaire because the money they offered was staggering.
"But I would never have forgiven myself if I had not tried England; if I'd rejected an offer from the Premier League.”
When Mucha came over to England to visit his new club, he was given a tour around the Finch Farm training ground and was highly impressed.
"When they showed me the training facilities I was shocked. There are about 20 training pitches, all in perfect condition. This is a football world I always dreamed about," he said.
"I spent just a few days in the city, but I already like it."
The 27-year-old has 14 caps for his country since making his international debut in a friendly match against Hungary in February 2008.
He was second-choice to Lukasz Fabianski - now at Arsenal – during his early days in Warsaw. But has been Legia's number one since the Polish keeper's move to the Gunners in 2007.
And Mucha spoke to his former team-mate ahead of the move to Goodison, but wants to help his current side lift the league before he leaves.
"Legia have a place in my heart. I owe this club a lot. I have had a fantastic time and I want to repay them by lifting the title.
"I have one already as a reserve, when our goalkeeper was Lukasz Fabianski. I asked him about Everton and he said it is a great move. So I am going, but first I would like to give a title to Legia."

Re: 1: Jan Mucha - Dropsy
Meanwhile, new Everton signing Jan Mucha has revealed Arsenal goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski was behind his decision to move to Goodison.
Mucha, who will appear for Slovakia in the forthcoming World Cup finals, will officially complete his transfer next month after his contract with Legia Warsaw expires.
The keeper became friends with Fabianski during their time together at Legia before the Pole’s move to the Emirates three years ago.
And Mucha said: “We are still good friends and we have kept in touch since his transfer to Arsenal.
“I played with him for two years in Legia. I actually consulted with Fabianski before I signed with Everton and he recommended the club to me.”
The 27-year-old, who has already met his new team-mates at Finch Farm, added: “The family atmosphere at the club appealed to me and the people all seemed nice. Of course, the chance to play in the Premier League was a big attraction too.
“It was very nice at the training ground. I felt very welcome there so everything is positive.
“I have done some practising with Tim Howard. He is a good lad.
“I am looking forward to playing at Goodison Park.
“I have been inside the stadium when it’s empty to have a look and it is great.”

Re: 1: Jan Mucha - Dropsy
interesting,
I'd read we we're getting him but hadn't seen about the attention he'd got from other teams aswell. it'll be good to have decent back up for Tim (assuming he's good like), sometimes Howard makes some top saves but sometimes his concentration levels drop and he messes up the simple things, a bit of realistic pressure may be a useful kick up the arse.
Tim's only 31 now so i can't see him moving on due to age for a good 3 or 4 years

Yeah, he needs some genuine competition. I hope this Mucha offers it.Valentino Blue wrote:interesting,

I don't think this guy has been brought in to play back up. Howard let a rediculous amount in last season, and Moyes isn't having none of it by the looks of it.

Re: 1: Jan Mucha - Dropsy
We want to have competition for every spot on the pitch. The goalie situation is no different. I think Howard is good, but competition will only make you better. I think this is a great move by Moyes (assuming that Mucha is good of course ).BB wrote:I don't think this guy has been brought in to play back up.
