CHELSEA V EVERTON
a late evening KO as the blues take on the blues, not an easy game, but our travelling fans can roar us on to victory here ( VAR allowing )
this is a great time to get a result for us patient fans, with a 2 week break following.
so i predict us coming from behind to win a " very nervy " game 1-2

Re: CHELSEA V EVERTON
Unfortunately Chelsea have started tio pick up wins right when it is time to play us.
Re: CHELSEA V EVERTON
Think I've managed to get tickets for this one, so off to Chelsea I shall go. I promise not to mention rent boys or anything else controversial.
We could get a battering here, but I predict a 2-2 draw with a battling performance from our boys. Chopper Harris and Twiggy for them, Dwight McNeil and a last minute DCL flying header for us.

Re: CHELSEA V EVERTON
Dyche's managerial record at Stamford Bridge - one win, three draws and three defeats in seven visits.
Yer never know.
Yer never know.
Re: CHELSEA V EVERTON
Actually, I doubt if DCL will be playing, so no goal for him at Stamford Bridge. The Echo are saying that Dyche might give him some minutes in the U21s this week and, as we have a two week break after Chelsea, it would make sense to give him plenty of time to get back to fitness.
So our second goal will be scored by Gary Lineker, on loan from MOTD. He will celebrate by doing one of those finger to the lips shush celebrations, followed by a Nazi salute to each corner of the ground.

UTFT. Good to see a bit of fight in the team. Massive point after the other games didn’t really go our way.

Disappointed we didn't win that really, still a point better than nothing. Nice goal from Simms.

Re: CHELSEA V EVERTON
Was driving up to Nottingham to pick the daughter up this afternoon, to bring her back as a mother's day surprise for the missus.
I'll listen to it on the radio, I thought. Nah, they had the City game on R5 and the rugby on TalkSport. Our game was on Sports Extra but I couldn't find that on the wife's car for some reason.
So, I was in the dark, just waiting for goal updates while listening to Haaland skewering Burnley. Nearly swerved off the M1 when I heard Simms had scored, due to excessive punching of the air.
Happy days. Great point.

Re: CHELSEA V EVERTON
I thought we earned and deserved the point today. Their goalie should have saved our second but credit to simms for outmuscling their defender and taking a shot.
Fuck me, our fans were noisy today.

No less than Koulibaly that he left on his arse. I wouldn't have considered that possible when I thought he was the best centre back in the world a couple of years ago.
So pleased for Simms. He will feel he belongs now. That could be a very significant goal in the context of our season.
