Re: Everton v Chelsea
Hmmm. Not a fan of this line up.
Got the eye op on Monday so having to stay away from GP.
Get the blue flares out boys, cause we're gonna need em until the window closes, and we've got at least one striker and 2 midfielders.

So all the noise about Dele starting up front was either BS to bluff Tuchel... or Frank had a re-think
either way it doesn't look good for us does it

FL and Thelwell seem to be in agreement about 3-4-3, but I'm just not convinced at the level we are at.Made 4 Gwladys wrote:Hope it goes well for you mate.Yankthattoffee wrote:Hmmm. Not a fan of this line up.

Maybe a few elite teams can play it effectively, but maybe that changes when Gueye and Onana arrive?
We've got 3 bruisers in the back 3, and they've got 3 whippets.
That usually means the 2 wingbacks will get pushed back, particularly on the Sterling side/

Why did Godfrey pass the ball backwards there to Pickford???? So f'n stupid. If you don't have lots of options, just f'n hoof the ball upfield!
Re: Everton v Chelsea

Not quite clear to me as to what happened to Godfrey but he has oxygen so it's likely a rather bad injury.
Re: Everton v Chelsea

I loved the long pass by Tarkowski. If it goes out of play, so what? Instead we have a corner seconds later.
