Re: Everton v Man City
Oh well. Good performance really. Could have been very different if we had nicked a goal but plenty of positives to take away.

We need better players but City are no benchmark for us. They're not on a different planet, they're in a different galaxy.
I felt nothing at the final whistle, no real disappointment because I genuinely had no hope anyway. Today at least, that's not really our fault.

I expected to get battered today & 0-2 isn't a surpirse.
the thing that fucks me off with Everton is when we get twatted by Burnley & the Barcodes....
that said... our bench today was a fucking joke

Yeah. We've known this all season, we have a decent first 11 but the squad is nowhere near deep enough.
We're at least two good transfer windows away from being able to seriously compete.
Re: Everton v Man City
Not surprising that we lost to a great City team.
The good news is that my missus and I finished knitting the scarves we have been working on.

I thought Carlo set us up perfectly today. Obviously City are in another league to us, but until the 84th minutes I actually thought we might nick it.
Our bench was amazing though, two teenage goalies and a couple of ten year olds. And Iwobi. Thanks fuck for Iwobi eh, City must have SHAT themselves when they saw him warming up - the poor fuckers only had De Bruyne, Mahrez, Cancelo, Aguero, Mike Summerbee and Noel Gallagher on the bench.

Just goes to show how poor the Managers we have had before Carlo came, a Man City fan pointed out to me when a lot of our fans Complaining about are bench (as Hairy just did) compaired to City's Bench,
Yet Iwobie and Gomes cost The same as Cancelo and De Bruyne , Sickening isn't it.
