Spurs - The Mighty Toffees

We are looking so much more comfortable on the ball compared to earlier seasons. Great to see.

What a save by Pickford, wow. And wonderful play by Spurs to be honest.

Can't see the ref adding much time to the 1st half, close to 44 minutes played.

Spurs getting on the gas in the last few minutes here, I think we need halftime to come.

HT, 0-0, Spurs with the best chance when Doherty had a shot from 4-5 yards out that Pickford saved.

Overall though it's been a good half of football where we have managed to hold on to the ball for extended time periods, especially early on.

I really think we need to score to get something from this game.

What a pass from DCL to Rodriguez who totally scuffs his effort from 12 yards out, great chance.

Rodriguez, what a player and touch, wow, his pass to Richie is superb but Richie can't connect the header from 4-5 yards out.

Doucoure with GREAT defensive play. Le Saux just stated "Don't think Sigurdsson of Schneiderlin could have done that...".

Richie gets us a freekick, Digne swings it in and it's a glorious freekick which is perfect and DCL meets it and buries the header in to the top corner. Wonderful!

All three of the signings have shown why they should be starting.

One can really tell the confidence that the team has after the addition of the three new players.
