A win for Bournemouth (and defeats for Villa and Watford) could see them avoid relegation. A win for us will catapult us from 11th to errr...11th.

One good thing about being shit is that we get a decent close season, whereas teams still in this season's European competitions could be playing well into August. The PL starts again on 12 September.

File under "no fucks given".

Thank Christ this dire, ridiculous season is over. Worst in living memory, not just for our poor excuse of a team, but for football in general. To end with an avalanche of half-arsed, meaningless fixtures, televised from empty stadiums with canned crowd noises, and a load of pissed up Red Shite shitting, brawling and puking all over a city ravaged by Covid sums up the state football has got itself into.

The premier league is a burst balloon, over-inflated by greed, stupidity and arrogance. I can't see next season being any better, not for us or for the rest of football. I'm thinking of jacking in this bollocks and finding a lower league team to watch locally. I can't say I'm enthralled by the idea of taking a train up to Liverpool every other weekend to watch more of this crap.

On other hand, 8-0 to Everton - hat tricks for Richarlison and DCL, one each for Moshiri and Alan Ball.

I'm so out of football at the moment that when I told my wife I am meeting someone to finalize a car purchase tomorrow morning at 9AM, she asked "Aren't Everton playing then?"

I had totally spaced it and don't really care either. Oh well.

I feel a bit for Bournemouth I must say. Play their hearts out, I assume based on them beating us with relative ease, but it's not enough in the end.

Glad to see the season end.

On a separate note, I get daily e-mails from the OS about the new kit. Yeah..... not interested at the moment.
