Burnley get gifted a corner. They took so long over it the ref blows the half time whistle. The best thing about that half was the very loud scouser sitting behind the commentary position abusing referee Anthony Taylor.
I’m off now to meet my family. Enjoy the rest of the game.
Up the toffees.

HT: Everton 0-0 Burnley
Proposal on the pitch at Goodison Park at half-time!
And she's said "yes". But will VAR take a look at this one?
Review over, decision stands, we've got a wedding on the way...
Re: Champions League Winners elect V Burnley (Changed for KOT)
Nothing being reported on the BBC live text updates which makes me believe there is simply not much happening at Goodison Park.
Re: Champions League Winners elect V Burnley (Changed for KOT)
Everton 0-0 Burnley
Burnley have been very solid defensively, but they're also a danger on the break.
Everton fail to spot Robbie Brady arriving at the far post unmarked but the Clarets midfielder attempts to head the ball back across goal instead of going for the target himself.
Should've tested Jordan Pickford.

Kean for an opportunity
Everton 0-0 Burnley
Michael Emons
BBC Sport at Goodison Park
Over an hour gone and still goalless. Will this be the time for 19-year-old Moise Kean to make himself an Everton hero? He is yet to score since a £25m summer move from Juventus and was taken off by Duncan Ferguson after only being on the pitch for 19 minutes recently.
Carlo Ancelotti has said he tried to sign the striker, who has scored for the Italy national team, while he was Napoli boss.
Kean, Cenk Tosun and Theo Walcott are all warming up if Ancelotti wants to change things. With the Burnley central defensive partnership of Ben Mee and James Tarkowski performing excellently, Tosun could also be utilised to offer more power up front.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche told Match of the Day: "I thought we coped with it [Ancelotti's first game]. We quelled the game in the first half which was the game plan because we thought they would play with energy. We never really looked in too much trouble and then we wanted to progress in the second half. It was a giveaway in the second half and they nicked it.
"It was a poor mistake, Dwight [McNeil] was trying to play inside football and it was not on. He is a fantastic footballer and he will learn. Our two centre-halves were excellent today and I was pleased with the defensive side of the team. We know we have to work for those collective moments of quality in the final third, but it was a good ball in and a great finish to credit them [Everton].
"We think we have got quality and we have shown that at times but some days it is softer than others. Chris [Wood] had a great chance but I think it was just offside. The next pass and the next detail is what we are trying to consistently improve on."

More from the BBC:
8 - Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has only lost once in his first game in charge of a team in all competitions in his managerial career (W7 D2 L1), going unbeaten in his last eight such matches. This sole defeat came with Parma in 1996. Impact.

We are up to 14th in the table but only 4 points from the relegation zone.

'Perfect day'
FT: Everton 1-0 Burnley
Everton
Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti told Match of the Day: "For me, it was a really special moment [being introduced to the crowd]. After that, I saw a good performance and a good result. Today was a perfect day. I'm happy because we need points to move up the table. It was a difficult game because Burnley played a strong game but we deserved the result.
"We tried to build-up with three defenders to put more players between the lines, and some situations were good for us and others have to improve. This is normal and I didn't want to change a lot for the players. I have seen some good things. The spirit of the team, the fact Everton is a family and we have fantastic facilities."
On the festive schedule: "We are used to recovering after three days, but after two days is too much in my opinion. We have to play but it is impossible to recover so it effects the performance, not just for us, but also for Newcastle."

I didn't get to watch the game but based on what it looked like on Saturday, well, it couldn't have been any worse. And I mean that.Yankthattoffee wrote:Any difference in our play today?
