Re: Everton v Arsenal
I got to say, as wonderful Arsenal play, there are few more frustrating teams when it comes to surrounding the ref trying to get opposing players sent off.
The commentator made a great comment when Sanchez, I think it was, kicked Keane in the head, the commentator said that if that had happened the other way around, how many Arsenal players would have been surrounding the ref screaming at the high kick? We had NO player running up to the ref! Not one.

Re: Everton v Arsenal
Arsenal players tend to spend as much time on the floor as standing up. Frustrating to watch.
Re: Everton v Arsenal
There is a lot of open space in the middle of the park. Arsenal taking advantage of it.
Re: Everton v Arsenal
Again the commentator brings up the kick to Keane's head and how the players reacted. He is clearly not an Arsenal fan.Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:I got to say, as wonderful Arsenal play, there are few more frustrating teams when it comes to surrounding the ref trying to get opposing players sent off.

Re: Everton v Arsenal
Ramsey with a great chance, loads of space in the box, stears it well over the bar. Let off.

Arsenal get their reward
Everton 1-2 Arsenal
Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Goodison Park
Arsenal have looked by far the more inventive side and finally have the lead their supremacy deserves.
Everton are being over-run. Goodison Park is very quiet. Troubled times for manager Ronald Koeman.
Re: Everton v Arsenal
Rooney and Siggi's names are finally mentioned, one could have thought they were both subbed at halftime, so quiet.

My stream is clearly 2 or 3 minutes behind.
Re: Everton v Arsenal
And they have scored 3 with over 15 minutes to go. Sigh.Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:Based on how Arsenal are attacking, they should score at least 3 times today. Can we prevent that from happening? Apart from the goal, Cech has had very little to do.

Niasse is on for Rooney. DCL also subbed, but not sure who came on for him. Mirallas maybe?
Re: Everton v Arsenal
Davies tries from 30 yards out, shot on target, the first one since 1-0. I could have been in goal for Arsenal today.

'Could Everton go down?'
Everton 1-3 Arsenal
Steve Claridge
Ex-Leicester striker, BBC Radio 5 live at Goodison Park
Do you worry about Everton going down? I haven't seen three worse teams.
I don't understand what Everton are trying to do? There are a lot of good players but no structure, no system to speak of. It is not enough to just get men behind the ball.

I am glad to see Lookman getting some playing time, well overdue.Hinchcliffe Corner wrote:Lookman on for DCL

Re: Everton v Arsenal
Sanchez should hit the target from 7 yards out, but he thankfully guides his header wide of the near post.
