Re: Everton v Arsenal
Pickford with another save from the freekick, he also saves the follow up.
Arsenal are looking good though, lots of give and go passing cutting us open.

Re: Everton v Arsenal
Every time Arsenal attack I am nervous. They are really looking good. We are doing a lot of running around chasing the ball, I can see us getting heavy legs towards the end of the game.
Re: Everton v Arsenal
He always puts in a shift, runs himself into the ground. I also like that he wants to take on the defenders. Got good feet as well.Hinchcliffe Corner wrote:Vlasic looking good today.
Re: Everton v Arsenal
We maybe shite at the back but at least we are giving it a go! Gueye been a monster so far. Seems to be enjoying the freedom in the middle.

Re: Everton v Arsenal
We're actually getting the ball in to their box today. This could have a few goals in it by 90 minutes.
Re: Everton v Arsenal
Vlasic has been fantastic so far. So much positivity, skill and engergy, like the child of a Tom Davies mated with a Ryan Giggs
Re: Everton v Arsenal
Williams living dangerously here, he's already on a yellow. But he never touched the Arsenal player, he ran in to Williams.

Horrible horrible dive, trying to get Williams sent off. Not good to see at all!
Re: Everton v Arsenal
Was it Sanchez? I don't remember now, but Sanchez does tend to hit the floor often.Hinchcliffe Corner wrote:Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:Williams living dangerously here, he's already on a yellow. But he never touched the Arsenal player, he ran in to Williams.

It was Lacazette who went to the ground. Sanchez ran some 25 yards to the ref though trying to get Williams sent off. Wanker.Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:Was it Sanchez? Re: Everton v Arsenal
Not sure what Gueye is doing there, he is clumsy making an Arsenal player hit the floor again. Why do that when the Arsenal player is in his own half facing his own goal when you are already on a yellow?
Re: Everton v Arsenal
Based on how Arsenal are attacking, they should score at least 3 times today. Can we prevent that from happening? Apart from the goal, Cech has had very little to do.
Re: Everton v Arsenal
has moshiri come to sack koeman today ?

Re: Everton v Arsenal
Started watching just before we scored - good goal
Then we started pressing for a few minutes and were looking good
Then we let Arsenal back into the game by giving them too much time and space - their goal was always coming
We need to keep pressing - if we let them play with time and space they will score again
But saying that, a lot better than we have been playing recently
Pickford playing well but his distribution has been poor 1st half (which is usually his strong point)
COME ON YOU BLUES

Re: Everton v Arsenal
Cant fault the effort today but we are hanging in there. Everything good for us happens in isolated flashes. No sense of a team playing together or a coherant plan. We will be lucky to hang onto point, never mind 3. Davies needs to come on to help Geuye in the middle.

Re: Everton v Arsenal
Men against boys to be honest, though our boys are putting in a good shift. Arsenal could win this 3 or 4-1 unless we get lucky, rattle them a bit, sneak a goal, and soak up the pressure for the rest of the game. Can't see it, but you never know....
