Re: Everton v Chelsea
DCL is about 35 yards out, Lukaku is making a run and DCL takes the shot. Well wide.
Re: Everton v Chelsea
Barkley and Davies are struggling to find their rhythm in the middle of the park. Many sideway passes.
Re: Everton v Chelsea
We are afraid to commit players forward when attacking. Prime example, Lukaku has the ball in the box, well wide, and not many options since he only has DCL with him but he's marked.
Re: Everton v Chelsea
I really don't care much for the manager Conte - always screaming and bitching and punching the air when they score. Settle down you clown.
Re: Everton v Chelsea
Long ball and Lukaku doesn't cover himself in glory with that poor control and finish.
Re: Everton v Chelsea
And from that booking, we have a freekick some 25 yards out. Barkley hits the wall.
Re: Everton v Chelsea
Pedro finds himself with lots of space and time at times in the middle of the park. Need to make sure he's closed down, especially since he's so pacey.
Re: Everton v Chelsea
If Barkley does another of those "I am taking my time on the ball turning back and forth at least 4 times before I make the pass", I will lose my mind because he ends up losing the ball more often than not.
Re: Everton v Chelsea
I can see Koeman making changes at HT since DCL and Valencia have not done much.
Re: Everton v Chelsea
HT, 0-0. Chelsea shading it and had 2 great chances to score but failed to convert on both of them.
Very intense opening 10 minutes and last 5 minutes. The middle of the half was played at a lower tempo with lots of side passes from us.

Re: Everton v Chelsea
Tough day at the office so far. Chelsea really managing the game professionally and snuffing out any threat from Barkley/Lukaku. Davies been excellent so far covering the ground. Game looks a bit too big for Calvin-Lewin. Get Mirallas on to be more game smart.

Phil Neville is the co-commentator on the TV here and he's not overly pro-Chelsea, ha ha ha!
