Re: Everton v West Ham United
Oviedo with a great block this time, he's all the way over to the opposite side of the box to make that block.
Re: Everton v West Ham United
20 minutes plus stoppage time remaining. I still fear that WH will score.
And Robles with a great save from Noble, corner. WH are on top now.

Re: Everton v West Ham United
Cleverly on for Mirallas. I suppose Koeman is trying to shore up the middle of the park but that leaves one of the flanks pretty empty.
Re: Everton v West Ham United
Bolasie gets us a freekick and is subbed before the freekick can be taken. Jags on for him. Eh? I don't understand this because why would we change the system and play with 3 CBs?
Re: Everton v West Ham United
Adrian with another great save off Lukaku. Granted the shot was right at Adrian, but still.
Re: Everton v West Ham United
All over, 2-0. Great win in the end. 2nd half much better, not just because of the goals, but the tempo was better and the center of the midfield much more authoritative, dictating the tempo and play much better.

I only caught the last half an hour but we looked decent in that period. A few sloppy moments but some solid defending at other times. We have the second best defence in the PL at the moment.

Re: Everton v West Ham United
The first half of the second half (to clarify, 45-70 mins) is when, I thought, we were the best. The tempo was better and we actually bossed the game for long stretches. Hope you get a chance to watch that half of the second half.Armchair wrote:I only caught the last half an hour but we looked decent in that period. Probably Barkley's best game of teh season, but I thought that both fullbacks ran him close, especially defending, but also going forward (more so Coleman than Oviedo).SouthernSmugToffee wrote:Sky Sports man of the match : Ross Barkley
