Martinez interview pathetic. Bemoaning our bad luck, talking shite as usual. "A hard one to take, don't think we deserve that score line with the effort we put in"

"The desire was there, the work rate was there", the cunt thinks this was a great response to our shit performance against Leicester.

I don't see any scenario where he doesn't get sacked, be it now or 1st June. As such I'm not going to get worked up, or waste another thought on the twat.

If come 2nd June he is still here however...

Oh fuck off you fucking HELMET

His head was spinning. The answers had largely nothing to do with the questions. No conviction in anything he saying. Just relying on a few stock phrases to get him through it. Kenwright has let this drag on far too long. He has to take him out of the firing line. The players have downed tools, either minding themselves for Euros, lack in belief at what they are been asked to do, or just too damaged from what has gone on this season.

We may be insulating ourselves at the moment because we can't see past his sacking, but let's not kid ourselves, we have started a Villa like death spiral that is going to take a massive personality to pull us out of it. We are desperately lucky we had picked up enough wins by March not to be dragged into a relegation battle, but on form at the moment, we are in the bottom 3. Normally we say that every summer is huge to see can we push into top four but right now we need a huge summer just to right the ship and start building some solid foundations from the back and rid ourselves of bobbys bullshit. Premier League is not a playground from some daft philosophy about possession stats over results. Of course we don't want to go wildly to the other spectrum with a Benitez type manager but we need to become solid and hard to beat again because right now everyone we play has as good as a 3 goal start before we even kick off.

Just fucking do it Bill. now!

Amen brother. We need a man with a big stick to get this back on track, and we need some hard fucking grafters in the squad. And we need the new manager in asap so we can get a proper pre-season under our belts.

"It was not an easy game and Sunderland had a lot of momentum with their focus on the league.

"We have one more game to get the winning feeling and perform in a manner in which we can get the three points and end the season better."

This result must surely be the end for Roberto Martinez as Everton manager.
This was the third successive Premier League away performance that has bordered on embarrassment after the losses at Liverpool and Leicester City.
Such is the strength of discontent about the Martinez regime that it might actually be humane to withdraw the Catalan from the firing line before a potentially toxic final game at home to Norwich City this weekend.

The complete Bobby Bullshit from last night is published... enjoy it won't you Mad

"I think it was a game where Sunderland were very efficient in front of goal," said Martinez. "Sometimes by merit - they had a real intent - and sometimes by luck.

"I think the first goal is disappointing. We started the game well but slowly we lost that forward play. We kept the ball well without going anywhere and that [meant we] created our own problems a little bit.

"It allowed Sunderland to press us and a free-kick that maybe shouldn’t be ends up in the back of the net. Then, from two corners, the scoreline is too big to reflect what happened on the pitch."

"We kept fighting in the second half," added Martinez. "We changed tactically to get bodies around Rom and to get a bit higher up the pitch. We created better chances but then we hit the crossbar or their goalkeeper was in a good moment of form.

"Everyone is down, as you can imagine. We all wanted to pick ourselves up after the semi-final in the FA Cup. There’s nothing that we want more than to get that winning feeling for the fans and finish the season strongly.

"Today, we competed for every ball and were full of effort and intent in wanting to win but the luck at the moment is not on our side.

"We have an opportunity now on Sunday against Norwich to put in a big effort and try to finish with a good performance."

Why, oh why, oh why (copyright Points of View 1988) does he play down the importance of set pieces? Who gives a shit what happened 'on the pitch' when our Achilles heel is so obviously set pieces?
