Everton Vs Southampton
The bore draws come thick and fast at this time of the year, and only a few days after a thrilling 0-0 against Crystal Palace, we're back in action.
Home advantage should see us score a couple, but Southampton will also score a couple and my reign as the draw king will continue.
2-2 Lukaku and Barkley to score.

Re: Everton Vs Southampton
If Saints score first the atmosphere will be poisonous. If we score early we might go on and win but I can see nerves getting the better of us.
0-2.
0-2.

Re: Everton Vs Southampton
Expect banners and boos and a sneaky 2-1 win for the mighty Blues. Bobby will surpass himself by letting his actions speak louder than words in his post-match interview - he'll have a wank. Bill will appear immediately afterwards, smiling "WHAT A MANAGER" and Lukaku will mumble some shite about God while sporting a bright red pair of Beats headphones and a big placard saying "FOR SALE" on his bonce.
Fuck this lark, I'm out.

Re: Everton Vs Southampton
I will be on autopilot all the way through this borefest.
A few shouts of "fuck off ref you cheating cunt" then I will probably get my Kindle out to start re-reading Stephen King's - The Dark Tower.
Moan into my pints afterwards and have angry sex with the missus.

I really can't be arsed to watch anymore but I have to justify the satellite tv subscription to my wife. If we lose the semi next week I'll probably knock it on the head for next season.
Another home embarrassment for me. 1-2 Saints with two defensive pearlers from the Blues.

Re: Everton Vs Southampton
Southampton are a competent side so will surely swat us aside with ease, despite a phenomenal performance from us.

You all know only to well we have a few injury's, NO CHEMISTRY IN THE TEAM, recipe for a big win.

Re: Everton Vs Southampton
Martinez explained that he is likely to turn to some members of the Blues' impressive Under-21 ranks to cover for any players unable to make Saturday's game.
He said: "Five games in two weeks means the squad is going to be tested at some point and that's going to be tomorrow against Southampton.
"We're probably going to be in a position where young players will get opportunities, players who haven't been involved will have an opportunity."
The under 21 thing rules me out.
I can see a Gibson-Mirallas link up, as our ZZ look-a-like pings passes out wide.

I hope RM goes for a wacky line up, with say Mirallas and Foofoo as strikers.
This is when Moyes was at his best, dogs of war etc.

Re: Everton Vs Southampton
I hope we lose. There's nothing to play for so the lower down the league we finish the more likely Bobby is to get the chop, even if we win the cup.

Re: Everton Vs Southampton
Be interesting to see how we get on though, since it looks like he'll put out a weakened side today. Even if we get tonked, it won't necessarily weaken Bobby cos of that. I still hope we win, whatever. I don't think results in the league will make any different now - the only thing that might save him is if we win the Cup. The board must know that if we lose in the semi final and they don't get rid of Martinez, the fans will revolt. It takes a lot for Evertonians to act like RS, but it will definitely happen this time.

The danger is we might win the cup and finish 9th/10th, back in Europe next season...does BK have the balls to sack a manager who wins our first trophy in 21 years? Moshiri might, but BK I'm not sure.

Exactly my concerns. If he wins the Cup, he stays, without doubt. I agree it would be a bad decision, but it will happen. I think the earliest we'd get shut of him if that does happen, is around November or December. But chances are, if we are mid-table by then, he'll keep his job for the entire season.
If our club had any bollocks they'd do what the Shite would do, sack him whatever the outcome in the cup. But they haven't. Yet. Hopefully Moshi will make the difference.

Don't think I've got any half time snacks available. I wouldn't mind a bag of nuts. Be better than watching this bag of shite.
