Re: Bournemouth v Everton (FA Cup 5th Round)
I thought we were very lucky today. Everything went our way. Luka MOTM? You're having a fucking laugh. Listening to him and Ross talk after the game I wondered if I must have been watching Watford Leeds by accident, I had no clue what they were talking about.
Bournemouth put out their reserves and we sneaked through. Not impressive.
On the other hand OUR NAME IS ON THE CUP!!
I thought Niasse looked like he might be a good player in the few minutes he had. That's good news.

I can live with that. Makes a pleasant change.

Largely agree, though can't tell a thing about Niasse.
Everything effective we did today relied either on luck (Both goals) on individual players excelling rather than any kind of coached plan or structure. Our defending was decent, but that's cos Jags, Funes, Coleman and Oviedo pretty much know what they're doing, there were still loads of times we were caught out of position as a team and had to rely on pace (lennon was great at this) or individual defensive skill to win the ball. Up front and through midfield we're so static it's unreal, just tap, tap, tap. We do this really well, but it's utterly ineffective and everyone's worked out it's what we do so they don't need to press us too hard, just narrow the space. I do applaud Barkley for trying the ambitious through balls that didn't come off, though. At least he's trying to get something going forward.

Have to say no player really stud out for me,Although I feel more confident with Robles in goal.
I think Foofoo should have come on second half, neither Lukaku or Barkley deserved MOTM. I would given it to Robles. A break has come at right time for both Niasse and Besic to get fully fit.
I bet we get Reading in next round.

I think he's either had a barny or has finally got to a point where he wants out... even when he scored he seemed totally unimpressed...Yankthattoffee wrote:what did you make of Big Luke's body language throughout the game?Mori Foo Gwladys wrote:0-2 COYB .. Joel the hero

Maybe he thought he should have had the day off as it was the cup & Nessy played instead.
Hope I'm wrong but maybe the thin edge of the wedge for a mass exodus in the summer

You're making this up.You were too busy getting your post count up in this thread whilst the more analytical fans were being analytical, sort of, like.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one that thought Lukaku's body language read he couldn't be arsed, even after he scored ,The media reports linking him away in the summer can't be helping, It effected both Barkley &Stones .
